Out of all the wonderful quests that were in FFVII what would you say was the hardest thing for you to complete...I don't mean skill like "I could never manage to land a basket on the hoops game at Golden Saucer"...I mean what quest took you the longest to figure out what to do WITHOUT a Walkthrough or guide?

FFVII was pretty easy. The only thing that really got to me was that snow maze. I took me a very short amount of time to go through it (without passing out), though I have no idea how I did.

The Snow cave is quite a pain as well. It took me a little over an hour to complete it.

For me I think the hardest part was getting the Alexander Materia...I hated the Glacier area.I agree...the passing out cus of the cold thing got very annoying!!

Honestly, the first time I tried chocobo breeding, it took me a WEEK of playing the game 3 or 4 hours a day just to get the gold chocobo. My luck with it sucked SO much. IMO Knights of the Round wasn't worth that amount of effort. On the other hand I did it right with everything on the first try with my next game. Oh well, luck of the draw I guess.

LOL...I wouldn't say that that was a very lazy way to get a gold Chocobo....I mean I see what you're saying but it is still quite a task to beat Ruby weapon...so give yourself a pat on the back.

Kill the weapons. I only killed Diamond and Ultima. Emerald and Ruby... wel..... killed me?

I never had a chance to even do 1 damage to them!

Emerald and Ruby. To look at it another way: finding Final Attack Materia was the hardest thing because #1 I didn't know where to get it until I checked out a friend's strategy guide and #2 I didn't know that it was what I was looking for in the first place. Of course, Final Attack Materia was what allowed me to beat the Weapons so you could say it's all one big task.

Remember Ejoty,I said WITHOUT walkthrough or strategy guide...meaning you figured it out all on your own with out anyone or anything to help you!

The hardest thing to complete? While it was easy to figure out, the most time consuming part of FFVII was getting the master materias. Most of the time I put into FFVII was spent leveling up materia so I could get the Master Command, Master Magic, and Master Summon materias.

Actually, FFVII was pretty east, for me. Chocobo breeding was a piece of cake, it only took me a couple hours(starting from yellow chocobo to gold). I think the Wal-Market was pain, a bit. And the snow maze thing... I don't know what I would have done without a guide shifty.gif

oh yeah! The weapons. Ruby and Emerald. They are a pain... I never defeated them. sleep.gif

Completing the Gold Saucer mini-games. I've managed to get 300 GP at a time a couple of times out of it. All the games there are hard to beat fully.

For me it was either getting final attack (cuz I would always get "all materia broken") everytime or else getting all the items (and materia) from great glacier

I think it was Alexander materia. I've only managed to get it recently; despite having been playing the game on and off for about 10 years.

For me, it was a tie between breeding chocobos to make a gold chocobo and trying to beat the optional weapons (ie: Ruby, emerald, Ultima)

They were a pain in the butt to try to beat!

The hardest thing to do without a gude, definately getting Alexander. Only got the materia once and once was enough, you never need summons at all throughout the game, and getting Alexander was annoying.

The Snow Maze was a pain, but I also hated the maze beneath Cosmo Canyon. Can't think of the name of it. I couldn't stand the damn place, esp. because I was always too proud to leave if I nearly crossed out all Potions, Magic, and Ethers...meh
