Mine is Kefka, he is one Pshycotic clown, the real reason why u never give someone insane power

Sehpiroth. he had the 20ft long masanume, looked cool, sprouted wings, casted meteor to destroy the world, was psycolly insane with jenova, and rocked.

Kefka is still the best FF Villan, but isn't seymour conisdered the main villan in FFX?

My vote was, is, and always will be Sephiroth. He is the ultimate evil. At least in my opinion, i mean the other Square villans were bad but fro crying out loud the guy

SEPHIROTH! This guy is the coolest character in video game history. He wields a HUGE sword, has some really cool mystery surrounding him, and comes within about 30 seconds of destroying the world. I'd say more but I can't figure out the spoiler function.

I'll have to go with Kefka. He was one bad mother..shut your mouth! Sephiroth was cool and he did kill Aeris, but Kefka poison and WHOLE kingdom! That has to amount to something right there. People also forgot to mention that Kefka was one of the best dressed villians in the FF series. Ya gotta love the make up and his get-up.

Since it looked like you were trying to put the "main villain" throughout the game, rather than final boss, Golbeze would have been the one to put for IV.

I voted for ExDeath, partly because I couldn't decide between Zemus and Kefka, but also because I feel he's seriously underappreciated. He's got an interesting Golbez-ish suit of armor, and conceptually he's very unique: born when an evil spirit invaded a sacred tree. Quite original.

No. The main villain is the enemy you fight at the end of the game, and that's Sin. Sin is also the enemy that they spend the entire game on a quest to stop.

My vote goes to Sin. I love to hate Kefka more, but as far as amazing villains are concerned, I think Sin was far more ingeneous than an insane clown (no disrespect to Kefka).

Exdeath was neither ill in the brain nor infantile. He was truly evil.

Well, let's see...from the ones I know of:

Zemus/Zeromus: just plain evil. Nothing that interesting other than mind-control, and you can pretty much do anything with that.
Exdeath: Very well done in terms of evilness, but not too much else to boot. Like, how the heck did Exdeath evil nature come about in the first place? He's very well-designed; he just needs more backstory.
NeoExdeath: WTF??? Very weird final boss that seems to only live to destroy, much like Lavos.
And we come to Kefka and Sephiroth.

Sephiroth: sets a village ablaze, kills you-know-who, attempts to destroy the world and "comes within about 30 seconds of destroying [it]" (~Shivy), has no laugh (apparently no other emotions either), turns angelic, is insane, has no sense of humor, has weird final forms, obviously seems to be uber-powerful from the beginning, wields 9-to-20-foot-long sword (so what's its actual length anyways?), and destroys toward a given end, a set goal.
Kefka: poisons an entire kingdom, kills you-know-who (who happens to be a much stronger and more admired character in this game than the other you-know-who), actually destroys the world (well, at least the WoB), has a famous insane laugh, turns angelic, is insane, has a sadistic sense of humor, has an unexpected although logically coherent final form, seems like a nobody at the beginning of the game, wields magic, then statues of magic (upgrade), then an evil light beam (even better upgrade! [evil smiley]), and destroys just for the sheer joy it gives him to kill stuff dead.

My vote: Kefka. Kefka Pwns Sephy. Done.

i think exdeath is an evil spirit who infested a tree, and grew very powerful, thats what i think the story said, sephiroths sword is probably around 4-5 feet

I haven't played through the whole game, but at the moment The Emperor of Baramekia has my vote. Sure, he's not the ultimate evil like Zemus or Exdeath, he's not a demented master of mayhem like Kefka or a sword wielding badass like Sephiroth, but he's evil in a much more conventional sense. Ruining the collective shit of whole towns with badass Black Knights, then flattening all who oppose him with the badass Dreadnought that was built with slave labor...Ya, unless he does something horrendously gay, Baramekia wins just because he's so conventional

I would choose Sephiroth as FF7 being my Fav FF and Sephiroth being so cool and having such a great theme I have to say Sepiroth really is the greatist

Anyway, I voted for Kefka. I have stated numerous times on the board why he is my favorite character (INCLUDING playables) in the entire FF series, so I will just quietly slip away right now instead of repeating myself.
