This topic is what 2 characters do you use in MK: DD!!. Mine are: Toad and Koppa Troopa or Yoshi. Post your favorite character combos in this topic.

Toad and Diddy. Toad to get mushrooms when I'm behind, Diddy to drop bananas when I'm in the lead. Both small so there's no problem with weight distribution, and most courses you can make up the speed disadvantage on the turns.

bebi mario/lugi and toad/toadette. bebi mario uses the chopm to pwn all, and toad uses the gold mushrooms to go z0000m!

OTFL (On the Floor Laughing!), these are some good ones, A Toad and Daisy one is good: Mushroom and Shields, Perfect!

"OTFL" eh? That's a new one. I always use Daisy for sheilds, plus the "Hi! I'm Daisy!" is too funny to miss. Me and my bro get a kick out of that one. Anyway sheilds are very helpful as getting hit by an item can really screw you over in the harder races. The sheild has been a life saver more than a few times. Plus getting other people's stuff is cool, especially if it's a special weapon like the giant shell. The other character I use is the red Koopa Troopa with the insanely useful triple red shells. With the sheild and 3 red shells you're in good shape, noooo doubt about it. With the little guys you can dodge lots of obstacles and stay on an accurate course.

Diddy and Mario, although that she-Yoshi moose thing is a close runner up. Diddy is the driver and I benefit from Mario's cool fireballs, although occasionally they swap over for big bananas. If only Kirby was on it...

Toad and Toadette. Because of those golden mushrooms they're never out of it. Plus, the Toad Kart handles wonderfully.

My brother and I play together and we're always the baby Mario team. Our initials for in-game scoring are BMB. Whenever I play alone I use them, too, unless my brother is also playing alone. Then I choose Baby Mario+Toad and he uses Baby Luigi+Toadette.

Oh, and Iggy, btw, the "she-yoshi" is Birdetta from Super Mario Bros. 2.

Baby Mario and Baby Bowser or Yoshi. Baby Mario's Chain Chomp, while infrequent, will almost definitely put you at least three places ahead when you get it. Baby Bowser's Spiked Shell isn't the most powerful special, but there's an incredibly high chance of getting it - my record is around five times in a row. Yoshi has great speed, and the Egg is one of my favorites. It's kind of like a cross between a pinata and a homing missile, which works for me.

You mean Birdo, from Super Mario Bros. 2 and Mario Tennis, some of these character combos are good, I wish there were more traks though (16 is too little, how about haveing all the tracks from all of the Mario Kart games, and some new ones. Maybe loong ones.)

Shields are great, but the problem is that you never get them unless you're in third place or worse. That's the reason I like Diddy so much, he gets his big bananas just as often when you're leading. I love putting them on speed boosts and just in front of jumps. Completely slows everyone down behind me.
