Available non-humans in WoR:
1. Mog 2. Umaro (who doesn't count for this particular question) 3. Imp (can be made from any human, I'm not sure if this counts) 4. Relm in Moogle Suit (a stretch) 5. Strago in Moogle Suit (a stretch) Which means, counting 1,3,4, and 5: Mog+3Imp 4Imp RelminMoogleSuit+3Imp StragoinMooglesuit+3Imp Mog+RelminMoogleSuit+2Imp Mog+StragoinMoogleSuit+2Imp RelminMoogleSuit+StragoinMoogleSuit+2Imp Mog+RelminMoogleSuit+StragoinMoogleSuit+1Imp Which ends up being 8 combinations. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. Okay...Thanks to CoN's database of all the FFVI SPC music, I can finally ask this question which I once wondered about in the "Music" thread.
How may of the music tracks of FFVI contain what might be called the "Terra motif"--the first five notes in the melody of Terra's theme? My extra praise goes to you if you can identify them--by name or otherwise. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. Close, |)arkShadow, but no cigar. The bat's pretty close, but misses the ball.
By the way, that track that you pointed out (the one for the "espers going wild" and the destruction of the Floating Continent) is indeed called Metamorphosis. I don't know why that's the title, though. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. You can find me on the Fediverse! Quote By the way, that track that you pointed out (the one for the "espers going wild" and the destruction of the Floating Continent) is indeed called Metamorphosis. I don't know why that's the title, though. -GMH It's because the world is been transformed. Don't know if "Metamorphose" is a word that exists in English, you seem to just use the word "Morph". Anyway, there's the titles 1 - Awakening 2 - Terra theme (WOB theme) 3 - Dancing Mad (First part -- it's a remix of the opening theme) 4 - Opening theme 5 - Ending theme And I have a question for Mog Master: why does Strago and Relm (with Moogle Suits) or MORE non-human than a sasquatch and an half-esper? You are not less human 'cuz you have a suit. Anyway, I'll not argue with you. I'm just a little confused and I want some explanation -------------------- «À l'aventure compagnons, je suis parti vers l'horizon! Nope.
Well, Terra's two themes are obviously two of them, but there are more than five. Dancing Mad does not contain the "Terra motif", to my knowledge. (If it does, it's probably buried away in some obscure corner of the music.) -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. I've got them (or so I hope)
1 - Opening theme #3 2 - Awakening 3 - Save them! 4 - Terra 5 - Ending theme #1 That makes five! -------------------- «À l'aventure compagnons, je suis parti vers l'horizon! J'aurais mieux fait de rester au lit, ce donjon, il est pourri!» - Pen of Chaos |

I'll try a last time, if there are more, I give up
![]() Those I said 1 - Opening theme #3 2 - Awakening 3 - Save them! 4 - Terra 5 - Ending theme #1 Plus this one 6 - Ending theme#2 Edit I know that I said this was by last try, but I should have thought of this one earlier, REST IN PEACE. That makes 7. And then GMH, you can't say that I don't do efforts to have the right answer. If there are more... arrrrgh ![]() This post has been edited by Goonies on 30th March 2004 03:31 -------------------- «À l'aventure compagnons, je suis parti vers l'horizon! Almost.
EDIT: I saw your edit, Goonies, but that track doesn't contain the Terra motif. It is somewhat frustrating to see that two people have come so close to getting it, and the two of you would have gotten it together, but not separately. EDIT2: I just realized that Goonies had the actual answer. I was looking for "How many", not "Which ones". Yes, there are seven tracks, although not the ones that Goonies pointed out: 1. opening theme part 3 2. Awakening 3. WoB overworld theme 4. Save Them! 5. Metamorphosis 6. Ending part 1 7. Ending part 2 It is now Goonies's turn. Oh yeah!
Here's the question : How many enemies use the most used sprite and name them? HINTS: Chupon counts for two. No-name enemies doesn't count. Espers doesn't count. The answer isn't Guard or Brachosaur. -------------------- «À l'aventure compagnons, je suis parti vers l'horizon! J'aurais mieux fait de rester au lit, ce donjon, il est pourri!» - Pen of Chaos |

If I understand the question correctly, you are essentially asking which enemy/enemies has/have the most palette swaps.
Commander, Commando, Grunt, Officer, Soldier, Trooper Not a very exciting answer, Im afraid. There are several 'sets' of enemies with 5 palette swaps. This post has been edited by Detah on 31st March 2004 19:52 |

I'm pretty sure Commander, Commando, Grunt, Officer, Soldier, Trooper is the right answer, no other sprite is used by 6 monsters.

I counted Fortis and ProtoArmor for the M-Tek Armor sprite. Sorry for my mistake, it's your turn, Detah.

There are 3 monsters in the game which absorb all 8 elements (Air/Wind, Earth, Fire, Holy/Pearl, Ice, Lightning, Poison and Water). Name them.
I hope I didnt ask this already in this forum. Should be a quickie, if I did. |

All elements at the same time, or has the capacity to absorb any element? If it's the latter, then

The Ancient is correct. Final Girl, Intangir and Magic Urn absorb all 8 elements. Via the WallChange special, MagiMaster, MasterPug and Number 024 could absorb every element, though not at the same time. It was understood in the question that 'absorb all 8 elements' meant simultaneously.
Too easy I guess. EDIT Cactrot and Final Kefka do not absorb ANY elements and do not have the WallChange special. This post has been edited by Detah on 1st April 2004 16:56 |
