First of all I have to say, what the hell?
Were they drunk when they made this movie? Why did they seriously make it? It's the stupidest film since Ferngully: The Last Rainforest which actually -had- some good points in it. Please tell me, why? Just why? So are you going to see this shamlessley stupid movie or are you, like myself, going to grind your teeth at the sheer stupidity of the world everytime you see the advert and imagine that stupid Fish being eaten by a huge bird? ![]() -------------------- "Luck is my middle name. I think we can blame children. Children watch any dribble their red neck parents with mullets can get at the 2 dollar bin at walmart. So why not this? if children were more intelligant we wouldn't have this problem. "Mother I am offended that you would try to make me watch this revolting excuse for a movie. Quite frankly im upset that a talent such as mike meyers would soil his hands on this"

That movie was an atrocity. They took a classic, whimsical piece of children's literature that was enjoyed by people of all ages and created by an icon and turned it into a useless piece of low brow trash. If Dr. Seuss(Theodore Geisel?) has any extended family, they oughta sue the makers of the movie for defamation.

I must admit i didn't care for the idea either...but since I refused to see that movie I cannot judge it. But in all honesty I think Dr. Suse musta been takin sumthin for creativity if ya know what I mean.

I haven't seen it, but I heard there was a rediculous amount of sexual innuendo.
My brothers saw it, and I saw about 30 seconds while getting a drink from the kitchen. From that little bit, they were correct. Come on, it's freaking kids' movie ![]() -------------------- "I had to write four novels before they let me write comic books." -Brad Meltzer |

I admit they should have made the rating higher because of the sexual reference and there were also other things like a reference to the word sh** which was the abreviation for one of the cats cars...other than that I liked it just fine and didn't really think it was a bad movie.

Manz...? Well many people say it's a really stupid movie. And stupid movies usually build upon the success of the other source that they got it from and the movie thus has hardly any substance. That's why the kids're taken in.
But if such a crap movie is barred from kids, then their audiences are like...totally gone! I mean, are people above 10 taken in by this kinda thing? -------------------- Student of CCS, Grandmaster of Alternative Literature and Musical Passionista at your service!!! |
