Which Version. I don't have the game. The reason why I made the poll is because of my curiousity. I don't know which version I'll get.

I really don't know if i will get it yet. If I do get it it will be the PS2 version but 100 dollars is a little steep right now. I don't like the whole online gaming thing anyways so I probably won't buy it.

I chose neither because I don't feel like selling my life to a MMORPG. There are probably enough fanatics out there to make you highly inferior, and I'm sure the respect for newbies is deteriorating more and more each day, and nothing's worse than idiots who think they're great because they've been around a while. Plus I don't have the time to get highly involved in a new game, especially one that charges a flat monthly rate no matter how little you actually play.

I got the PC version within 2 weeks of it's release. I just can't say that I liked this game very much, but I've never been a fan of online computer games. I only played it for a month before I gave up on it. It takes a long time to build up your character before you're strong enough to accomplish anything and I just didn't have enough time to devot to FFXI to really give it a fair chance. I might try it out again after I get DSL, then again that all depends on if I can scrounge up the monthly fee required to play.

I haven't decided yet. I'm going to wait for EGM's review of the PS2 version before I decide. If i go with the PC version i'll need to upgrade my computer, but I would rather do that if the PS2 version has glitches or other problems.
