They are always far from common. But I usually get them by inviting the Uribo from the 3rd battle in Beowulf's sidequest and hatching them from there.

I believe you can also find one on a level of Deep Dungeon. If you've already completed the dungeon I believe you can run across one in Doldobar Swamp.

PORKY!!!! They are my favorite monster next to the behemoth which is my #1. Ummm I caught one during the super hard battle at Finath River. There were 9 red chocobos 2 black and 1 Uribo. I I had to fight that battle like 5 times. I just wanted to catch that uribo and bread it. Was it me or was that battle really awful? The hard thing about is is because the chocobos are on the same level as you. Not your average stage battle. I like porky because it's cute, also you can sacrifice it to gain a level.

You can indeed find Porkys as well as Uribos in END, the final stage of the Deep Dungeon (obviously after the first battle you fight at END), as well as one Uribo in a random battle at Dolbodar Swamp.

Other than that, your opportunities in the story battles are pretty thin :
Zigolis Swamp : one of the monster is randomly a Flotiball, a Morbol or an Uribo
Finath River : if you're lucky, one of the chocobos will be a Uribo
Colliery Underground 2nd Floor : this one is always here.

The only sure one is out of your reach, so you have to resort to Dolbodar swamp or END. Good luck, and don't forget that breeding Uribos and Porkys is THE ONLY way to ever get a Wildbow, wich means being able to poach Ribbon and FS Bag.

In Finath River, Zigolis Swamp, and that other battle for a sidequest of getting the Aquarius stone...

The Finath River battle was easy especially when they have a Uribo.
The Uribo hardly did anything same as the sidequest battle.
I killed it last cause it was easier to ignore it and it looked more cuter than the chocobos with they're happy faces( ^-^ ).

I haven't seen any Uribos in attack action they must be all chickens recovering from a temple knight battle or somethin'...

Uribos/Porkys are more rare than the Sacreds.
You can poach very rare items from them all you have to do is to kill first and wish for a rare treasure box to appear from the dead body & wish for a great poach.

for a Uribo you can get a
good poach-Maiden Kiss(not so good) thumbdown.gif
great poach-Caschusa

for a Porky you can get a
good poach-Chantage
great poach-Nagra Rock thumbup.gif

maybe they don't appear as much because of their rare poached items I see...

If I was a little pig with crappy strength and HP, I wouldn't appear too often either.

It's just easier to go to END and hope that you'll get a couple Porkys out of the many Uribos you're sure to get.
