Okay, which Final Fantasy is it from? We need more information, please.

I've seen the Celtic Moon version of the world map music for Final Fantasy IV billed as the "rare opening prelude" as well as "Enya's Final Fantasy Mix". It might be that. happy.gif

I've seen that too, but it can't be that : the shortest piece of music from Celtic Moon lasts for 2'36''.
As for the music you've got, Itensail, could you tell us if it's fully orchestrated, or just piano? That could narrow it down to half the arranged FF albums. And try to look at the Properties of your files, there can be other pieces of informations...

If it cuts off abruptly, he probably doesn't have a complete track, so the length of the track doesn't matter. happy.gif It could be one of the Celtic Moon tracks, cut off partway through.

smile.gif Actually, I also downloaded a song from Kazaa named "Extremely Rare Prelude" and, low and behold, it did contain a guitar later in the song. There's more than one prelude even though most of them have the same melody. The prelude I think that they're asking about is the Prelude (Guitar Version) from Final Fantasy 6. I was searching for a full version too, but when I got to it I think, the link never worked. I think it might either be just what it is, a rare prelude, or a remix by someone. That's all the info I know, and maybe you can find something about it at RPGamer. Happy findings! thumbup.gif

You could try looking on mIRC if you got it.

Use an Undernet server (my friend says stick with the UK server) and go to #mp3_collective. You might be able to find it there...again assuming you have mIRC.
