I got a problem. Back when I first started hacking FFVI, I gave Celes a nice repertoire of commands.

Fight
Shock
X-Magic
Health

And I saved it over my original, with no backups. I forgot about, and just recently went back to playing it again. When I got Celes, I realized that she still had those sweet abilities. While they rock, I want to play the game like it was meant, mostly. Is there some way to get her normal abilities back without having to start a new game?

Help, please.

Yeah Figaro I have a program that lets you edit save states made by ZSNES. I can't find it on the web right now but when I get home from work I'll host it for ya. Just make sure you have ZSNES. smile.gif Either that or someone will know of where to get such a program before then.

Just do the same thing you did to change them, except put the normal abilities back instead of hacked ones. Should work.

Sorry Celestial, the changes that you make (with my editor, at least) only apply to new games that are started after the changes are saved.

Thanks i90, I hope it works. For some reason, many editors don't work on my comp. sad.gif

Oh yeah, with this one you need to have Visual Basic installed on your computer. Well when I'm in chat maybe you can send me the zst file and I can fix it for ya.
