Ok this is basically about FFF or Final Fighting Fantasy. So it basicaly goes like this...after every game the light defeats the darkness right? Well the only reason the light is needed is because their is an overabundence of darkness...an unbalance if you will. Well the unbalance goes both ways so now there is too much light and the heroes of every FF game are all transported to a new world...where they inevitably clash. I hope people will watch this and get moe people watching and add to the discussions here because it is often overlooked and is amazing!
Here is a link to the first of several FFF flash films:http://www.flashplayer.com/animation/final...ingfantasy.html This post has been edited by The Gambler on 17th March 2004 01:28 -------------------- There is a time and a place for everything, and I am niether |

I agree Gambler...this very interesting topic because people are always talking about what would happen if worlds collided. This is pretty much the answer to any FFFaFFF (Final Fantasy Fanatics about Final Fighting Fantasy) question. I hope that viewers enjoy!

I love it, but the plot is confusing up until Cid comes into the picture but after that it flows really smoothly. I do have a question though what is the deal with Kain and hatred?

The animation was pretty good, it was well put together. The storyline was lame though, something much better could of been made.

I watched all of the episodes, and I think it really doesn't make much sense.

I dont see how it is confusing... there is too much "light" in the world therefore they are compelled to fight eachother. Also please note that the series is NOT over. Two episodes are still in progress and will further outline the way of things
Possible spoilers: highlight to view and Cid has yet to fully explain his plan and the reasoning for wanting to destroy the wepons or even show whom he is working with/for. Same goes with Vincent who seems to be working with Locke and his motly crew but Cloud and Berret will be joining soon so things will get interesting Possible spoilers: highlight to view so that makes him even harder to understand. I think the best is yet to come. he DID kill Red XIII -------------------- There is a time and a place for everything, and I am niether |

I don't really care how much you may explain the storyline, it makes little and/or NO sense. And furthermore, seeing your favorite FF characters die at the hands of their very friends and comrades is a disheartening sight, escpecially that little bit where two sasquatches bloodily murder a 10-year old girl.
![]() Possible spoilers: highlight to view Call me wussy if you wanna, but I don't like watching them get killed by their fellow do-gooders. The only redeeming quality of this Flash cartoon is the animation. I must say, it's a good job. Otherwise, don't waste your time on trying to search for meaning in the plot. There is none. Edgar, Sabin, Setzer, and Tifa all die at the same time doesn't help at all. They're some of my favorites. -------------------- Wow. 1,000 posts. I miss you all now that I'm in boarding school! ;_; |

The two Umaro's killing Relm was just an example and that didnt acctualy happen. This is proven by 1: The fact that the two Umaro's dissappear when Realm dies (one of them was just a scetch anyway) but in FFF:Power Mog gets Umaro to help him seige Kain, or at least try. And 2: the creator said so (check the forums).
Did anyone think it was something wrong with the Shadow vs. gogo fight? I mean it was cool but gogo talked alot...o well. Ok what is your fav episode and why? Mine is definitly FFF:Giaden because i liked the all ninjka action and the music was...off da heezy for lack of a better word. I also like the pheonix summon and how it revived locke AND left a pheonix down. pheonix is my fav summon ![]() -------------------- There is a time and a place for everything, and I am niether |

Yes, I think the second one was truly the best, merely for the fight scenes. It certainly doesn't have the greatest animation, though.
And yes, I know its just an example, and yes also, Gogo talked too much. Oh well, they were his last words. Let the mime talk. (I don't want a huge debate about whether or not Gogo was a mime, so I'll say that it was a joke about him being a mime. Calm yourself.) -------------------- Wow. 1,000 posts. I liked Gogo's speach a lot. It really showed him as being THE mimic plus it sounded cool

I like FFF and I'm eager to see Shodown and Animus. But the scene with Umaro and Relm did happen because
Quote Q: The fight scene with Umaro/Relm, Did it really happen? A: While i was pairing off people to duel with each other I wrote a bit of story/dialogue to go with each of them. Those results turned into Duo, Twilight and the following movie to come. The Umaro/Relm pair didn't have any text or story between them. and there wasn't much 'use' for them in this story just as much as there isn't much use for them in the game (Sorry). Epic was a bit dry on action so i used that non-dialogue duel to highlight what Cid was saying "In the end we would ALL turn upon eachother." The book Kuro was reading in Epic can show any and all history of places and events that have happened thus far. So even though the battle of Umaro/Relm wasn't of its own movie it did indeed still happen. -From http://www.fffantasy.co.uk/ in the section Q&A. And Quote I do have a question though what is the deal with Kain and hatred? -The Gambler I think it's because he loved Rosa and was jealous of Cecil because Cecil was Rosa's lover and the heros acclaimed by everyone. Kain considered himself as a second. He slowly begin to hate himself and everyone. I think that this is why Golbez chose him, it was easier to influence him. When Rosa died (in FFF), Kain exploded and let his hatred governed him. Vive Final Fighting Fantasy! I liked the first couple of ones cause they were funny (a chocobo chasing the black mage was the best) but then it got all serious and stupid. Locke becoming a ninja?! What the hell!!

Well if Locke were a thief he would be pretty boring wouldent he? And besides thieves are usualy predicessors to ninjas anyway and I prefer the ninja Lock to the theif. Also note that the reason the mages were afraid of the Chocobo is that they simply didn't exist in FFI so they had no way of knowing what it was.

I personally hated the series. I watched all of them and like Figaro, was sickened to see comrades murder each other. Especially the scene where Mog, Umaro, and the Summoner fight Kuro. Kuro shrinks Mog rips off his wings AND BONE CHRUNCHINGLY EATS the poor little moogle. Then he has a Chocobo tear apart the summoner. And finally he shrinks and STEPS on Umaro killing him and leaving smear of blood on the ground.

For those who, like me, likes FFF, an update has been made (so you won't see that damned 58% ever). The number has raised to 70%. Hurrah! But, be patient because he says in his news that FFF isn't his priority.

I like the basic idea of the series, its pretty well in line with a fan fic concept I came up with but never had the brainpower to make.
I liked the humor of the first two movies, and I love the "gaiden" episode for its soundtrack and the final battle. The animation is cool, and as movies, they are well put together. Still, I do think its a bit much on the "brutal" side. Now I see nothing wrong with brutallity if it fits the story, but the story is getting convoluted, and some of the fighting seems just there for the sake of having action. Now, I enjoy this series, like I enjoy Kill Bill. Its fun to watch, with a cool concept, but it isn't supposed to be too terribly deep or try to please everybody. -------------------- And behold, I saw a Pale Gaming System, and the name of he who rode it was Squaresoft, and Enix followed him. |

I don't think it's in the same league as 8 bit Theatre. It was kind of amusing to see old school FF characters attacking each other, but it's a small novelty. I'm not going to bother watching more, I think.

I don't see why people hate it just because FF Characters die in it. This may make me sound evil, but I actually enjoy FFF. And the fact that Tifa died makes me so happy, really.
![]() C'mon you guys, it's just a flash series. They're just images that keep on changing, and red colours on the ground. Besides, it has a decent story, and the suspense keeps me entertained. -------------------- Let's see you figure out the truth of this quote...dun dun dun. "The following sentence is true. OK, I change my original statement about this cartoon. The story still sucks, but I admit the animation is pretty good, even though I consider sprite animation to be only half-art. He does well with sprites, and he adds other stuff that's not sprites that are good.

Quote (Apocalypse Zack @ 7th August 2004 20:08) C'mon you guys, it's just a flash series. FF7 was just a game, but a great many people cried all the same when Aeris died. I can understand people disliking these clips when they see their old travelling companions arguing with each other and dying. In any case, I thought it was quite creative. I liked ingenious touches such as B Mage casting Fire 3, having it be reflected back and having afir cast on him just in time. |
