I've played FFT a few times around, but for the first time I'm going for everything! My question is when you succeed at a proposition but don't get the bonus i.e. your characters say "We'll do better next time" is that proposition gone for good or will it come back in time? I recently completed the discovery race I, but didn't get a land and can't move on to Discovery Race II or re-do DR I. Do I have to restart in my total completion goal?

When you fail at a proposition, it's lost forever. That's why it's only prudent to save before entering a proposition, and to choose wisely wich character class you send in (for Math teacher, throw in a Calculator..).
About the discovery Races, almost every one of them land you an Unexplored land, so if you saved after you finished the proposition, you're basically screwed. Sorry... If you're going for everything in the game, I suggest you look in CoN's database first, and then go check this link to various questions already made about propositions and answered in the forum. http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/forums/ipb/in...?showtopic=1969 |

Ouch. Too bad I waited till chapter 4 to find this out. And while I thank your for answering my question, I will forever hate you for causing me to curl up in a ball and cry uncontrolably. Sigh. I guess I will forever be a Treasure Hunter...Level 2.
