New people should read the forum rules before posting. You're in violation of them.
Anyway, you need to give us more information. Where in the game are you? -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

....
That depends on what tactics of battle you're going to use. If you're at the beginnig, you should try them all (note what equip you have) and work out some way of fighting that suits you. If you're having some specific boss battle, there should be something covering it in the FFV section of the page -------------------- "I fell off the mountain of words at around the 10,000ft mark. Tell my family...they owe me money." -Narratorway "If you retort against this, so help me God I'll shove any part of your anatomy I can find into some other part. Figuratively, of course." - Josh "We have more, can deliver tuesday." - Del S Good old CoN |

All of the jobs end up being relevant at multiple points in the game. I would say the most sensible approach would be to give each character a good attacking job like knight, monk, lancer, berserker, samurai, or ninja, and also give each character a good magic job like white, black, time, summon, blue, red.
Those are the best newbie-jobs. Just remember to not make any character solely a magic user, the character ends up being too weak. -------------------- Get me off this Disciplinary Committee so I can play any FF except for FF8!!! |
