I seriously got into the game Saga Frontier, but due to the fact that the actual production of the game sucked, I never finished it. I heard that square decided to cram it on one disc instead of comfortably placing it on to 2 discs and thats why the game frequently crashes and locks up. I just wanted to know the following:
If that is not the reason then why is it every time I get the game it locks up? Did you play SaGa Frontier and did you enjoy it? And if they know where I can buy a copy that doesnt suffer the lock ups and such. This post has been edited by Confewzd on 22nd February 2004 06:52 |

I just thought the game sucked. It's the same game over 7 times (the back of the cd case says "140 hours of gameplay." Horse puckey, it's 7 20 hour quests of the same thing) and the plot is virtually nonexistent. The graphics are horrible and the music is annoying. The level-up system is confusing and poorly made. It was a refreshing change of pace to see a nonlinear RPG, but there's a line between refreshing and not knowing what the hell is going on. Although I never had technical problems with lockups like you are describing, probably because I got rid of it after 20 hours or so of playing.
