For those of you that have tried FFT Advance as well as the original FFT...does the GB version serve the original justice?

Personally, I think the original was much better, though the ending was poor. I have not yet beaten FFTA (Tactics Advance) though I am very close. Most of the new jobs will make it seem better, but the storyline for the original tactics was way better developed. If Tactics Advance were to be re-made, it should be as a sequal.

Well, I would say it was a good game.
you can easly cast spells without charging them first.
and you can get secret characters after you've beaten the game, like I have.

Well, I like the story line of the origional, and the gameplay of the Advance Title.
So, I agree with Strife, it should have been made as a sequel, if only in the sense that it were set in the same world, etc.

im writing a sequel, just give it time.

and no, the new one does NOT hold up to the original. while it has so-so gameplay, you just cant like the game because of the characters and storyline. Give me a break. This game was aimed at kids too much. Just LOOK at your characters.

No, really, they do.

I prefer the original much more than what I've played of Advance.

Advance is great if you have to go somewhere and things get boring, and I think
it's one of the best strategy games on the Advance.

But as much as I like this game, the PSX Tactics is better for me.
