Alright I do this thing where once a week i buy a new cd, well I'm at a crossroad here... right now my top two picks are Yellowcard - Ocean avenue and Metallica - Black Album (yes i know, i'm probably the only one who doesn't have this cd).
But anyways, Any suggests? Do you agree with one of the two i said? Give me some feedback, cause this decision is driving me crazy -------------------- And have you found your joy, in this near dead world of ours? |

Yellowcard's "Ocean Avenue" is a good cd comparing it to the rest of the "pop-punk" genre that it's in. What makes them a step above the rest is that Sean Mackin adds a good spin with some violin additives in a lot of the songs. But rating it as a whole, you could do better. But worth getting? Yeah, I bet it is.
And Metallica's "Black Album"... nothing to say that's already been said besides "Yes, get it!" Anyway, my suggestions... 311 - "311" (the blue album) Lost Prophets - "Start Something" Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Greatest Hits" Offspring - "Splinter" Nonpoint - "Development" Local H - "As Good As Dead" Staind - "14 Shades of Gray" the Exies - "Inertia" whole lot more, but those are guaranteed that anyone will like them... -------------------- "When I turn the page The corner bends into the perfect dog ear As if the words knew I'd need them again But at the time, I didn't see it." ~"This Ain't a Surfin' Movie" - Minus the Bear |

Good CD's according to Tidu:
Brand New - "Your Favorite Weapon" Taking Back Sunday - "Tell All Your Friends" The Ataris - "So Long Astoria.." Good stuff. That's all for now. -------------------- The clouds ran away, opened up the sky And one by one I watched every constellation die And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard Face to face, eye to eye, staring at the last star I should've known, walked all the way home To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone -Atmosphere "Always Coming Back Home to You" |

Now, I don't know what type of music you're into, but it seems like you like rock, punk and metal the most (judging from the albums discussed here).
I'll suggest: Oasis - Definitely Maybe Oasis - (What's The Story) Morning Glory? These are a must-have! Buy them if you yet haven't. Check Rangers51's quote and you'll see! ![]() "The black album" is another must-have. To tell the truth, I haven't got it yet either, but I will buy it someday. The Verve - Urban Hymns Another must-have. The Verve's final album before they split, and their top moment. And if you're into metal: Masterplan's self titled debut album (came in 2003) is awesome. go for all three of rage against the machine's original albums (rage against the machine, evil empire, battle of los angeles), and if you can swing it, grab renegades too.
every guns n' roses album except for the spaghetti incident. anyone who tells you axl rose cant sing is wrong. i obviously dont need to tell you about the kickass-ness of metallica. anything with ozzy osbourne on it. AC/DC and finally, one of my all-time favorites, if you can find "pride and glory" by zakk wylde, please pick that one up, its very good, you wont be disappointed. its got something for mostly everyone on there, except for hip hop fans (sorry gears). the rage cd's would be more fitting for them i guess, zakk de la rocha is the only hip hop artist that i like. -------------------- You watch the world exploding every single night Dancing in the sun, a newborn in the light Say goodbye to gravity and say goodbye to death Hello to eternity and live for every breath Your time will come... |
