For me it's a toss up between Goner, Overcast and Fire 2. Those would all be under "other", so that's what I voted.

I voted Meteo, because I think it looks the coolest. But in any case, no poll has enough room to fit all the magic spells, and if you include enemy spells (which I call lores) as well, then your list of magic and lore choices would be HUGE.

 Pearl is my favorite spell mainly because of the animation for the spelland it is pretty powerful, especially when I attack with two pearl lances.  |

I have to go Other as well. Goner is soooo cool it has to be voted for.
And slightly off topic, but close - to see Goner thwack your party, take on Final Kefka. Refrain from chucking an Atma Weapon at him, and he will, eventually, goner your party. I strongly recommend using life 3 in this case, as he has a bad habit of using Goner right after Fallen One'ing your party. Then throw an Atma at the schmuck. Jace |

Its been a while since I fought the final Kefka. Would "Fallen One" be the same as Goner? My favorite non-magic combo would be Genji Glove + Offering on Sabin with Dragon claw and Tiger Fangs. Quick way to finish off multiple targets! Oh yeah, I voted for Ultima, of course.

Gotta L0\/3 Flare. It in essebse ruined the Kefka Cult tower end battle. It was repetitive the Schmuck casts Wall change on himself over and over not realizing flare transcends All elements!! HAHAHA. Ever sense i saw Gesthal First attempt to use it ont the FC I was Curious as to how it looked. Which turned out sweet.

I voted Ultima! Ultima is so cool. It looks like something out of DBZ. I love how the ground is shooting up from the shear energy of the spell. It also deals a lot of damage and doesn't even cost 99 MP.
My second choice would probably be Flare Star. It isn't seen very often, but it looks awesome. I think I remember being disappointed in Goner because it didn't look as cool as Big Bang in FF4. It's been a while, though, since I've seen either. -------------------- --sbq92 <>< |

I like Merton. The combination of fire and wind is incredibly cool, and it's a full screen spell that has a nice effect.

I voted "Ultima", but it's a toss up between different spells really. I love "Ulitma" and "Life 2" because of their usefulness. I mean, maximum damage and total recovery. Two sides of the coin of wonder! But, I think many other spells are more or equally as cool looking as "Ultima", plus I've always loved "Pearl" for some unknown reason, so I can't really decide. And in the midst of all confusion, "Ultima" knocked the others down and ran into the poll before I could do anything...

Like I said in the other Magic Spell poll, Kefka's "Train" spell is by far my favorite enemy spell in the game.

I just saw goner... and it sucks. efka used it on me but it only did 102 damage to shadow 412 to relm 1286 to cyan and 209 to gau...

my favourite magic is life 3 cuz its like ff tactics advance auto life and it helps a lot against things like tyrano when you are around the level 50 cuz they have a bite attack that takes off about 5000

Me, it's Dischord cause you reduce damage that the enemy does and then you have all the time to steal, control, morph... I love dischord!

i also have another favourite magic which is flare because it cuts through the enemies defences and attacks them with non-elemental damage and that means that they can't absorb it but unfortunately it can't be super effective

My favorite magic is probably Ultima. Heavy, nuclear typeless damage to all enemies...what more can you ask for?

I agree with William. Ultima all the way!
Ultima+Economizer+Gem Box=Mile-high mound of bodies EDIT: Replaced "Cool Animation" and "Nuclear non-elemental damage to all enemies" with"economizer" and "Ultima". Added +Gem Box. Mine is Pearl and ultima, pearl has cool animation and I use Ultima w/ the Gem Box combo with Quick, and that werks for me.

Merton is cool because of its power, but unfort0nately it also damages 8our party. Meteo is cool because of itb name, but not much else. Fire 3 and Ice 3 have cool animations. GrandTrain is cool because of its appearance and power. Step Mine is also a kick-arse spell.
