Thanks to LynzyDee over at Shinra Online, we now have a signature image that you can use at other forums to promote CoN! I know, I know, it's hypocritical, since we don't allow sig images here. But other sites do, and I respect that, and I know that all of you want to make sure that CoN gets plenty of new membership!
Please host this on your own webspace if possible. If that is not possible, please let me know. Also, please let me know what forums you use it on!  Edit We do allow advertising in signatures here. Just not with images. I used the 49 as a reference to those who frequent more than one board. If you couldn't advertise your own site on a board (this one for instance), what would instigate you to advertise for the board that is prohibiting advertising?

There's nothing at all that says you can't advertise whatever you like in your sig here. The only restrictions are that you can't do it with an image, and you can't link or say anything offensive or illegal, pretty much. See the rules (though there's nothing more than what I've said here, I believe). Apologies if the first post was not clear on this. I only realised it could be interpreted as "we don't allow advertising here" while writing this post.
The point Rangers51 was making here, I think, is simply that this isn't a link exchange scheme or anything where you get points or prizes, or even anything good for advertising us (except for a warm, fuzzy glow). It's simply something that existing members can use if they want to help us grow. You don't; that's fine. I certainly wouldn't expect it of anyone, especially having been here for a relatively short time. There it is: take it or leave it. We don't take offence either way. If anyone does want to link to us, that's fine, but we can only offer gratitude in return. |
