Ok guys, here are your choices. Which one of these do you like best and use the most? Also if you use custom colored text and/or windows, tell us what colors you use.

Choice 1: Default Blue


Choice 2: Dark Gray Metallic


Choice 3: Icy Blue Texture


Choice 4: Woodgrain


Choice 5: Brown Stone


Choice 6: Greenish Rock


Choice 7: Bright Green Leaves

Choice 9: Custom Color


I like the brown stone the most but sometimes I use the woodgrain. Both of these look natural and arn't too light or dark. Plus it's easy to read the text.

My favorite is also the brown stone.....although the patter seems more like clouds to me.

I liked icy blue, but I would make it darker and a little more blue.

I'm probably the only here who's going to say this but....

I like the 'crazy chocobo' one. I always thought that one looked more like a hen on a nest than a chocobo. I love it though.

I never really had a favorite...I'd just alternate between Dark Grey Metallic, Woodgrain, Brown Stone, Greenish Rock, and Bright Green Leaves. So I can't vote.

I always used either "dark, grey metallic" or "custom color" whenever I played.

Well, the default theme always screamed "FINAL FANTASY VI!" to me, so that's the one I always used.

I mostly play with custom colour. And then I choose my favourite colour in the world: DEEP PURPLE (some call it Violet)!

But I am a fan of the woodgrain and the greenish rock too. But I just don't use the alternative window styles (apart from customized).

Great minds think alike, Shirrow. I always use custom colours. It used to be silverblack, but now I've gone towards a purple mixed with a hint of blue, and the default yellow writing.

Default blue.

As much as I love to customize, I always go with the default blue for FF6. I just like it the best.

i almost always go for the icy blue with a red font, but sometimes i take one of the palettes and change the colors around to a mix of reds and purples.

I tend to change my window color to match the environment. My favorite, however, might be the water or greenish stone. I don't use custom except to make an all black version of the default blue.

In each game, the default is usually what seems to go best with it. I like the blue for I-VII, but the blue doesn't go well with FFIX.

I tend not to worry about this stuff as long as I can easily see the text on it, so I left it at the default, which I voted for.

I sometimes mess with it, but in general I stick with the original background. It's just what I'm used to.

I alway use a modified Icy Blue, I take off all the blue and green on all palettes save the 2nd last, which goes to full black.

the Blood-red veins look mighty awesome. I'll post a pic either in 1 hour, or 24, depending on my mood when I get home from work.

Default. The first 5 or 6 times I played through, I didn't even realize that you could change the menu color. By the time I found out, I was so used to default that it didn't seem right playing with anything else.

I usually choose the one you call "icy blue texture" but I change it so that it is deep red and black. So I call it "Lava field texture."

i wanted to vote for greenish stone, but i accidently clicked the grey mettalic, cause to me the greenish stone looks more grey to me. O well, the green/grayish stone is what i play with.
