for my all out crazy person that kills anyone and everyone would have to be Beatrix she's so freaking cool.

For my Healer/ Summoner its a tie between Yuna and Garnet even though they are both annoying at times.

For my thief it would have to be Rikku/Zidane leening more on rikku

For my offensive magic person would have to be Lul shes just so hot!

I like having powerhouses that also have the ability to heal. As such...

Amarant (chakra + throw + power) - IX
Gau (practically everything in FFVI) - VI
Sabin (with genji glove and offering, and mantra if needed) - VI
Cecil (white magic and crazy strong) - IV

All these guys have a lot of HP and well balanced stats, and because they all have basic healer abilites, I wouldn't need a white mage. They are also strong as crap. Which I think is good.

Cloud: heavy hitter, give him w-materia and Knights of the Round, and the slash-all materia then he might just be all thats needed

Sabin: back-up heavey hitter, equip him with genji glove and offering and the monsters won't know what hit them

Aeris: She doubles as healer and black mage plus her limit breaks are as valuable as Cloud's

Celes: two words, Runic blade

And for an alternate I'd have to go with Mog, cause that little b@stard's dances are cool.

3 Character Team

Benjamin - Knight able to fight, and use both attack and healing magic

Relm - Pictomancer in charge of magic and the ability to control monsters

Edge - Ninja able to steal, use magic, and throw weapons.

The Balanced Team

Cecil - Paladin with healing spells, sword skills, and cover

Locke - Adventurer able to steal and mug, as well as use heavy equipment

Celes - Rune Knight in command of magic and Runic.

Mog - A specialist able to dance, and use jump attacks with spears.

Female All-Star Team

Freya - Dragoon with Dragon Skills and Jump Attacks

Rinoa - Sorceress with Black and Time Magic

Terra - Magic Warrior with Morph, Magic, and Sword Skills

Rosa - White Mage with healing and support spells, and Bows

Rikku - Ninja with the ability to steal, mix, and throw items

I want this world to change for good. I want to see Final Fantasy, the world of swords and magic.

Hm..interesting topic.

LEADER: Freya Crescent - a heavy hitter but not as heavy as my fighter. Able to Jump without using Dragoon Boots. Would be good as a female leader. Much better than yucky Yuna.

FIGHTER: Sabin Rene Figaro - heaviest hitter and equipped with Genji Glove and Offering. Kablam.

WHITE MAGE: Mog. His dances are fairly unreliable, so just pump him full of white magic and equip him with the Pearl Lance for random Pearl damage.

BLACK MAGE: Vivi Orinoti - Who else would fit this position? Fill him up with all the FF9 black and grey magic, plus other ones featuring in other games.

Plus, I don't know why everyone's putting five people in a party. It may be most handy, but the majority of Final Fantasy games have a party of four or three.

Black Mage (FF1) - HADOKEN!!! STABBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cid (FF7) - 'cos he's cool.

Gau (FF6) - doesn't NEED to attack, with all those COOL rages!

Sabin (FF6) - His Bum Rush move rocks!

BTW, how would u make a perfect character , if you had all the abilities / weapons / relics / materia / espers /ect that you wanted.

E.G: I would have CLoud, w/t Slashall materia, Offering X2. WOnder if you could use Omnislash 16 times...

I haven't seen alot of people looking at Tactics for characters. Tactica has the argueably most unbalancing, insanely powerful character in all FF games in the form of Cidolfus Orlandu, T.G. Cid.

So, my party would be thus:

Lead Character: Cloud (FFVII)

Tank: T.G Cid (FFT)

Healer/Summoner: Yuna (FFX)

Magic User: Terra (FFVI)

My party of utter annihilation -

Sabin, FFVI (set up as a black mage)
Auron, FFX (set up as a status mage)
Cloud, FFVII (set up as a summoner)
Kain, FFIV (no magic)

No healers you say? Who needs a healer when you've got Sabin Bum Rushing and using Ultima, Auron Breaking and Dooming everything in sight, Cloud using Omnislash and KoTR, and Kain jumping on faces with his spear?

Picking five characters is crazy hard.

Magic-Celes
Magic-Terra

Cloud is just awesome (he is the original "munchkin" FF character). Kain is ridiculously cool and useful. Rydia........everyone needs summons and she rocks. Celes and Terra, insanely good, balanced magic skills, not too mention that they get the greatest installment of Ultima ever.
