I love Taco Bell because of the low prices and the low fat great tasting food. Back when I went to college I'd go there 5 days a week. Even now they still give me a free drink every time I go there. So a Bean Burrito and Nachos meal costs $1.80. You can't beat that with a stick. A Chili Cheese burrito and Nachos costs me $1.91. A Nachos Bellgrande costs $2.37. Ok so you guys have to pay for your drinks. Just get a small and take advantage of free refills.
Food from Burger Kind tastes good but wow, that fat makes me feel terrible. I couldn't imagine eating there on a regular basis. -------------------- FFXI (Siren server) Tauu the Windurstian Tarutaru! White Mage & Paladin |

TB (no, not tuberculosis) wins my vote by far. Great food, usually good service, and relatively low prices. Wendy comes in second, probably, for their tremendously low prices; I can get a good, big meal for $4 ($1 apiece: a salad, biggie fries, frosty, and baked potato).

I cant belive you left out KFC and put up diddy resteraunts that dont exist outwith NA...
But im not voting KFC. i vote for the Local Fish and Chip shop. Edit Having noticed it was post 500, i must now promote fried, kill-you-before-you-are-25 food in greater depth... Look at thsi mouthwatering array of UK fast Food that has supported fisheries and undertakers for generations! Fried Fish (Haddock, Cod, Palice, Etc... Nice in Seaside towns as its fresh) Fried Hamburgers and Batter (beautiful) Fried Sausage and Batter (always nice) Pizza. (like cardboard in places, but like heaven in others) Deep Fried Mars Bar. Yes, deep-fried mars bar. Haggis. Black Pudding Pies (steak, scotch, and the like) Chips (French fries to those with no NHS to pump fat out of your arteries) Fritters Its flabtastic! I'm not from California, but those of you who are better vote the way I did - other, for In & Out Burger. It's so damn good... Everything is made and shipped fresh that day and is very delish. Unfortunately it's only in the California/Arizona areas and family owned so we won't have any in Michigan anytime soon. ;_;
Out of those listed I'd have to go with Arby's though. Arby's has great Roast Beef and Chicken, Market Fresh, you name it, they have it. It's a little expensive but they have a very broad and tasty menu. -------------------- "Hit hard, hit first, hit often." --Adm. William "Bull" Halsey, USN |

Arby's no question. I remember back in the day when my good friend worked there, can everyone say freebie? The food is always fresh, their new sandwhiches rock, their curly fries are the best, and they have Jamocha shakes. What more could you want?

Taco Bell... or Taco Hell? tsk tsk tsk, Taco Bell... I don't eat from the bell anyway... personal bad experiences and I just don't like the food that much.
The only way I'd ever eat anything like McDonalds or BK is if I was forced by gun point or if there really wasn't anything else. I like McDonalds. Food tastes good.I like getting a # 10. * drools*
I also like Taco Bell, though some of the food isn't that good. I can get tired of Taco bell pretty fast. I like BK too. |

I like Carls Jr myself. Around the South though they are known as Hardee's. I don't know why but they are. Anyway I loved the way they revamped the menu and droped 40 items in exchange for a really good burger.

Allow me to sing of Carls Jr.
Carls Jr. is far and away the greatest fast food resteraunt on Gods green earth. Their fries are a very viable alternative to McDonalds and their burgers are much better. The Double Western Cheeseburger owns the bejeezus out of the Big Mac and Whopper, and their Ranch Chicken sandwich is a little nugget of bliss. Aside from the prices, I see no reason why you would ever NOT eat at Carls Jr. It makes no sense. One bite of the Ranch Chicken sammich is worth the price though. -------------------- Blood & Fire |

Since there are so many fast food places, my focus is on the typical burger and burrito places. KFC is great but that's in the "fast food chicken genre" for lack of a better term. There are a few fast food chicken places, and including KFC would have meant including all of those. Subway is great but to my knowledge they don't have any "drive-thrus", so is that really a fast food place? Heh, plus trying to communicate with the english challenged indians behind the counter about what you want can take all day (my personal experience).

Wendy's, though I voted Taco bell by accident (seems to be a reoccering senario).
A good friend of mine made me a believer in their real food fast. However, I don't normally eat fast food; when I'm forced to eat out, I find a diner, or stop at Subway (which I don't really consider fast food). |

So the cheeseburger costs less than the fries? It's usually the other way around here in the states.

![]() I live in Santa Cruz, California, which is basically Vegan-Hippie Central, but I'm not one of them. I'm not a huge fan of most fast food, mostly because I've had some bad experiences in just a few places that sort of turned me off to the whole concept of fast food in general. However, living in Santa Cruz means that you get access to some rather odd variations in "fast food", like for example falafels. I'm not even vegetarian, but I love a good falafel. ![]() |

Holy crap McDonald's! The best possible fast food meal :
McChicken w/o mayo 2 apple pies mcvalue fries small soda/chocolate shake All for about 4 dollars. I don't get this whole "low price" argument. EVERY fast food restaurant is cheap. That's the whole concept. Honorable mention goes to KFC, Wendy's, Taco Bell, and BK in that order. -------------------- The clouds ran away, opened up the sky And one by one I watched every constellation die And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard Face to face, eye to eye, staring at the last star I should've known, walked all the way home To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone -Atmosphere "Always Coming Back Home to You" |

Well 5 dollars for a fast food meal ain't cheap. That's what I end up spending at Burger King or McDonalds. For a dollar more I can go to Old Country Buffet (aka Hometown Buffet & Country Buffet) and get a much better meal... a big salad, jello, watermelon, potato salad, carrots, asparagus, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, a taco, a bun, white fish and chocolate cake. That meal right there will knock you out for 2 hours, noooo doubt about it.
