guitar repair stuff:
wire cutters a soldering iron 6 guitar pickups (2 fender single coils, an EMG 81, 85, 60, and a generic seymour duncan from an esp explorer) 2 output jacks a 3-way toggle switch 3 strat style blade switches volume and tone pots all over the place a strat pickguard (ugh....) tuners (both guitar and bass... its not even a number that would add up correctly to an actual set or two) bits of wire scattered around boxes of strings electrical tape a magnifying glass razor blades screw drivers and allen wrenches of all sizes guitar picks... all over the place to the point where i can hardly see parts of the desk. for those that are interested, i go for the red pearloid fender mediums. 2tune-o-matic bridges and a stopbar 2 fender trem systems i keep some of those in boxes, but most are just piled up around the desk as for oddities that dont really go together: a harmonica an ashtray half a pack of cigarettes (ABSOLUTELY necessary to deal with all the things in the first list), and loose cigarettes just rolling around the desk like tumbleweeds. 4 lighters that i can see at the moment pens, markers and pencils a red light bulb candles my monitor surge blocker keyboard speakers printer -------------------- You watch the world exploding every single night Dancing in the sun, a newborn in the light Say goodbye to gravity and say goodbye to death Hello to eternity and live for every breath Your time will come... |

Right now? Okay... here goes.
A Compaq 17" monitor with two JBL speakers mounted on it. A Compaq Presario 6000 Desktop Computer. With a model of a Sword Striker Gundam posed on top. Don't ask concerning both. An HP deskjep 640c printer. A PS/2 mouse, and a PS/2 keyboard, both by Compaq. My Dell Inspiron 4100 Laptop computer. My precious child for the time being. A CD spindle with about 20 CDs I'm too lazy to put away and about 50 blanks. A cup that used to hold milk. Cleaning solution for contacts and a contacts holder. A canister of Kirkland Signature Household Surface Wipes. More useful than you'd think. An empty box for a Palm m500 AC Adapter I just bought. A Palm m500 and docking station, with AC Adapter and carrying case, which cost me $20. A batteries-only talking alarm clock that's fallen down more times than it really deserves. My glasses, with an outdated Bugle Boy frame and thick lenses. A TV remote control. My wallet. A plastic box 1/3 full of Wild Berry Burst Cheerios. A half-finished roll of paper towels. An exacto knife. Heh heh... Some wrappers for a Tootsie-Pop I ate. My cell-phone with headset. A lamp. A disconnected PS/2 mouse, this one made by Dell. A pair earbuds for listening to my J-POP / Anime / Game OST music. A toothpick.. A rubber band. My Computer Science 50 homework assignment. |

It depends.
If my desk is CLEANED (which it mostly isn't): * Computer screen * Printer * Modem * Earphones * Answering Machine * Notepad and pen (good for writing down messages from forums and chat) Now, if my desk ISN'T CLEANED, it could be anything, but currently: * Loads of books * Guitar tuner (I know how you feel, Rhoads! ![]() * Guitar picks * Metronome * Paper * LOADS of Coke cans * Weird plastic things * CD:s ...But the list has been longer. -------------------- People say I'm a slow learner, but I type fast! |

Good idea, i90! And that's a nice desk you have there.
Have a look at my shelf Yes, that's right, shelf. It works fine, and it's temporary, but right now I use a shelf that broke off of a real desk, that our roomate is currently using.
