Okay, simple questions I haven't been able to find the answer to on the site:

1. Can you get the Moogle Charm in the World of Balance?

I checked the location Mog was standing at in the moogles' cave in Narshe after getting him, but nothing is happening. I guess you can only get it in the World of Ruin after Mog (re)joins your party, right?

2. Can I get the Snowman Jazz in the World of Balance?

I know I have to fight outside in the snow, but the only such battles that I've been able to fight so far have been the Empire's attack on Narshe to steal the esper, and Mog wasn't involved in that. Is the only way to get the dance to wait until the World of Ruin, when you fight the Esper? I'm a little fuzzy on this since I'm replaying the game on PS1 after years of not playing the SNES version.

Although I got the Water Rondo now.

1. No. It's only available in the WoR.

2. No. The only place you can fight in the snow are the Narshe mountains in the WoR.

Gracias. Although technically, yeah, you do fight in the snow earlier in the game, just that you can't use Mog then. The Moogle Charm bit surprised me, though, since it's the same exact location.

I forget though--are there random battles in the WoR Narshe Mountains or can you only get it by fighting the frozen esper (Tritoch?)? I remember there being random battles in the WoR Narshe in the town area, but that nets you a different dance I believe.

You receive Love Sonata by fighting in a town. You have to go up into the mountain near where Tritoch and the Ice Dragon is to get Snowman Jazz.

Yes, there are random battles in the WOR snowfields.

As long as we are on the topic of Mog dances:

-You can get the love sonata in the WOB by either using the monster-in-a-box located at the Narshe training room or by returning to liberated south fiagro and going to the rich man's basement. The commanders/vector pups will still be there after the place is liberated. They will continue to partol the basement even after the world ends too, which is pretty hilarious.

-If you really want to get the water rondo wait until the floating island rises up. After that point you can walk from Gau's House to Nikeah on foot. This means after traveling on the Lete River you don't have to go through Baron Falls and the Serpent Trench all over again just to get back to your airship.

Love Sonata is really easy to get. Go to Zozo at any point in the game after you have Mog.

A note about Snowman Jazz: you can't get it by fighting Tritoch or the Ice Dragon (to my knowledge). You can only get it by winning a random battle on the snow.
