Deciding your favorite cereal is a very serious matter
![]() Fruity Pebbles, French Toast Crunch (was in the U.S...think it got the boot with the fries and kisses though...unfortunately..), Cap'n Crunch (WITH Crunch Berries), and there was some kind of Pop Tarts Cereal..dunno what happened to it but I liked it. ![]() -------------------- SPEKKIO: "GRRR...That was most embarrassing!" |

Kix (with no berries), Lucky Charms (with no marshmallows), Special K, Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds, Multi-grain Cheerios.
Once when I was four (and living in Taiwan where the cereal is imported) I ate some Cap'n Crunch that had GONE STALE. It was the worst experience of my young life and scarred me so much so that I can no longer even look at Cap'n Crunch boxes in the supermarket. I have to hurry past with my head lowered. It's true. Cap'n Crunch, you ruined my life. -------------------- "Turd-cookies!...they're hot and soft, though..." Why, what's your experience with Cap'n Crunch?

Quote (Hsiu @ 29th October 2003 20:34) Why, what's your experience with Cap'n Crunch? A long, complicated, and uncomfortable story involving a squad car, a Medieval catapult, Gettysburg recreationists, the FBI, a high school locker, a spatula, sherbert ice cream, a ferret, and the Captain. I recently tried a new dried-fruit cereal - this one had strawberries and peaches. You could barely taste the peaches, so to make it different than all the other dried-strawberry cereals, they changed the texture of the flakes. It was nothing special, but still good.

I don't usually eat cereal because I don't eat breakfast, but my favorites are Cocoa Pebbles, Life, and Golden Grahams.

Like Syndarr, I was exposed to more cereals once I started going to college. When I was growing up, my selections on cereal were limited since my mother was a dietitian and didn't want me eating the sugary kids cereals, so I grew up with Corn Flakes, Total, and the like. In high school, I didn't really do the breakfast thing, so cereal wasn't really a regular part of my diet.
Once I entered college, I basically started pigging out on sugary cereals for breakfast. ^^;; As was mentioned, my current 'favorite' is prone to changing weekly. It all depends on what I'm in the mood for when I cruise down that cereal aisle when I make my weekly trip to the supermarket. I'm prone to Fruit Pebbles, Frosted Flakes, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Raisin Bran, and sometimes Cocoa Puffs. Oh, and Lucky Charms. You'll never catch me Lucky Charms. Yeah. |

French toast crunch? I thought it was cinnamon? Or... is there a new brand that i've not heard of?
Anyways, back when I ate breakfast, I think it consisted of Frosted Flakes. Frosted Flakes is probably the only cereal I have ever somewhat enjoyed the flavor of... well... that and raisin bran... -------------------- This one time I punched a bear in the forehead TO DEATH! my favorite breakfest cereal is Peanut Butter Puffs. I'm definetly a peanut butter lover and i'll eat almost anything with peanut butter in it. Before PBP came out i liked Captain Crunch Peanut Butter Crunch cereal, even though it didn't really taste like peanut butter.

We don't really have a choice of Cereal here on the Nautilus, Nemo insists we eat Gruel as it keeps us all in 'check'.

MMMMMMMMM... cereal. One of the fantastic four foods of mine. Milk being another one.
I've been eating a lot of Wild Berry Burst Cheerios recently, though everyone says they're too sweet. Total Corn Flakes if I'm actually concerned about my vitamin intake. There's also this lightly honey-flavored mini-shredded wheat that I kept snacking on constantly. Not sure what it was. And nothing can compare to the nutty crunch of Grapenuts! |
