Hey Gang,

Is there any truth to this rumor?

"Take your worst character and turn them into an Imp. Then equip them with Titanium, Imp Armor, an Imp Halberd, and a Tortiose Shield. Use a Re-Name Card and change their name to Kapa. Now you have a very powerful fighter. (http://discover-net.net/~jasonds/tipoweek.html) "

The rename card thing sounds pretty hokey. Some of these items are difficult to get in the Colloseum, and I want to know if any of this is true before I wager away my Aegis sheild and other useful items.

Is there an easier way to get the Tortise Sheild, Titanium, and the Imp Armor?

i've read that before once...
I think it's just a pretend Kappa, the rename card doesn't do anything special.
And the imp equipments does make your character powerful when you have imp stats on (those imp equipments are in effect only when you have imp stats on).

I'm pretty sure all the imp equipments aren't very rare items.

Can you please explain the difference between "metamorph" and steal / won regarding items you get from enemies or bosses? I'm a little confused what the difference is (see http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/ff6/enemies.php? for listing of enemies and bosses).

Items won are the items that are sometimes dropped by an enemy after they are killed. You get these items after all enemies are dead and the battle is over.

Stolen items are stolen during the course of the battle by characters with the Steal or Capture command.

Metamorphed items are items won when you successfully summon the Ragnarok esper and it hits an enemy. This also happens during battle.

K, but joking aside, putting all this stuff on the Imp does make it strong, but naming it Kappa is just your choice, IIRC. I can't imagine why you would want an Imp in your party permanently, though.
