Leos shock aside, what is the other kind of shock you can use, and who can use it?

Not quite the answer I was looking for, but it is a valid answer, the question goes to 1stclass.

Name everyone that steals gold from you in the world of balance. Hint - It is part trivia question and part trick question. |

-Gau in the crescent cave; 100 Gil
-The Innkeeper in Vector; 1000 Gil (I think) -Shadow, when you hire him in Kholingen; 3000 Gil (if you're counting that one..) -Finally the Harvester in Zozo I believe, I can't remember if he steals Gil though. -------------------- SPEKKIO: "GRRR...That was most embarrassing!" |

You can't meet any thieving bears in the world of balance to my knowledge. I am pretty sure the only bears are gold bears and the ipooh's (aka Vagras' buddies), neither of which steal. I'm suprised that the last answer is proving elusive, as I was expecting Gau to be the tricky part!
In any case, all the other answers were correct and only one monster is missing from the list. New hint: -The last person can be found near one of the other characters that steals from you. -You never fight this person alone, there are always other monsters that accompany him in the battle. -When you fight this person, you never face more than one of him. EDIT: made an easier hint and will reveal the answer tomorrow if no one still can get it. This post has been edited by 1stclass on 27th December 2003 04:03 |

There's a contradiction in the game about the Atma Weapons. It has to do with what someone in a town said. Can you identify it?

The 2 Atma Weapons were created during the war of the magi, 1 turned the users life force into energy, the other was bred for mass destruction.
So the contradiction, I believe, would be that one uses life, and the other takes it away. -------------------- Blood & Fire |

There are two possible contradictions I can think of, but my memory fails me with one of them.
The first contradiction could be that the scholar only speaks of there being to Atmas, but there are three: The sword "Atma weapon", the monster on the floating continent "Atma weapon", and the monster in Kefka's tower "Atma". This, however, can simply be dismised by saying that the scholar was only speaking of the "Two Atma Weapons", the third is just a beast named Atma, not a weapon. The second contradiction could be that the Atma on the floating continent states that he is immortal, or older than time or some such thing, which would mean that he was older than the war of the magi, in which he was created. However, that statment could just be a figment of my unfamiliar memory. I do remember that the third Atma says that he is from the begining of time, but he isn't really a weapon, so the scholar's remark about 'Atma weapons' wouldn't really apply to him. Eh. |

Maybe, and this could be very wrong, because there are actually three atma weapons. The one sword you find in the caves that lead to the esper world, the giant boss monster on the floating continent, and the other one is on Kefka's tower that you steal from the goddess statue, I could be wrong about that, It's been awhile since I've beaten FFVI so it could have been another sword, or something of like. Or I could just be rambling.

Maybe this is it: The scholar says that there are TWO Atma Weapons, but there are actually FOUR--a pair of each kind. There are TWO beasts:
Possible spoilers: highlight to view and TWO swords one on the floating continent and one in Kefka's tower Possible spoilers: highlight to view . one in the cave to the sealed gate and one to steal from the third tier of the final battle -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. Nice thoughts guys, but Connor got the contradiction I was thinking of. This is a direct contradiction not subject to interpretation. The scholar says there are 2 Atma Weapons when there are in fact 3 in the game. I don't consider "Atma" to be one of the "Atma Weapons".

Welcome to the CoN forum, DD. Please do not post a new trivia question unless you have solved a previous question and the question poser confirms your answer is correct.
Also, it is always a good idea to read the first post in a thread like this. It will tell you the rules for posting, what you can and can't do, etc. Please feel free to guess when the next question is posted. |

The last question was answered and confirmed over two days ago. So I'll jump in with a new question.
What is the lowest level that you can acquire Leo? This one is for all you low-level-game fanatics out there. Hopefully thats not just me. |
