I have indeed heard of the Billboard awards... but I couldn't care less about them. A) ALL award shows are just a joke now. They serve no purpose besides the sharing of music "experts" opinions on who did the "best" in music over the year. And that's all it is is an opinion. I mean, not everyone will agree with who won or even who was nominated. B] Most of the music I listen to haven't seen the light of day on the Billboard Top 40.
But I'll give you my personal picks on some certain topics... Here's to hoping that Audioslave wins something, at both this and the Grammies. They definitely deserve it.
