If the MAIN character in a game is a secret character who adds nothing to the plot whatsoever, then I think your just setting yourself up for a crappy game. (which of course, isn't really the case thank goodness).

Kinda close in my opinion, but I chose Celes over Terra and Cloud.

I think I just relate to Celes more... not sure why.

i voted for terra, because she was one of those confused quite and angsty characters, but she had a pretty good reason to be (unlike squall and cloud). Also, she is a female lead, and prior to X-2, that was a unique trait to FF6.

I choose Tidus, however with FF6 there is no clear hero/heroine. While in the WofB it seems to be Terra and in the WofR Celes there is no real main character of the game. It could be anyone from Terra, Locke, Celes, Edgar, Sabin, or Setzer since they seem to have the most involved stories. Of course Locke was the best from that game but that is a different story.
The reason I picked Tidus was because of the way he was. Though he sounded like he was just hitting puberty he was a cool character.

I mean hell when Seymour kissed Yuna the look on his face said it all plus he had to kill his father, that takes some guts.

I love Cecil and find him to be my favourite FF hero (although, Celes is my favourite FF heroine). He's loyal and courageous, and finds his confidence to go through with his quest.

I had to go with Cloud...Zidane wasn't bad also but Squall and Tidus were stupid...even Tidus was better than Squall...Cloud was infused with Mako Energy thus allowing him to use a 150lbs Buster Sword as his primary weapon crushing his enemys with Elite srength.Plus his hair is freakin' awesome and his clothes also...and besides...what FF Character other than Cloud was seen on TWO video games (other than the stupid FF X-2 crap...Yuna doesn't count).
and also they are making a movie about him...he's just all around great.

Although not my favorite character in the game, Celes is by far my favorite "main character" out of those listed above. While Terra seemed to be a little too whiny about her fate, Celes continued to fight both for her redemption and the friendships she had forged with the FFVI crew--Locke especially . So, I guess out of the ones above I would pick Celes, though I still believe that there is no true main character in FFVI, even if you look at the WoB and WoR as being separate.

Gotta love Cloud, anyone who can use swords that big and twirl them like batons definitely takes the cake in my book. Coming in second is Zidane, whose plot is excellent, with plenty of wonderful turns.

Cloud is SOOOO over rated i picked Celes

my favirite char is of coarse the all holy cloud cause if his pointy hair and his really big sword O.O

My favoirte is a tossup between Cloud, Rmaza, and Terra. those are my three favorites, so I null vote, I like those 3 the most, and equaly.

First off, I love Cloud because I relate with him so much and his character-design is a riot.

However, I pick Bartz strangely because of his underdevelopment so to speak. Bartz, the least complex of the FF5 cast, serves as a Tabula Rasa (blank slate) for the game's action. Bartz starts to seem like only the person that walked around learning Time Mage & Knight (or whatever). It's interesting to have him develop a personality depending on your gameplay as opposed to Squenix's writers.

.... anyway, with Cloud my other runner up for main main character would be Yuna.

Cloud is deffinitely the coolest main character. He has the best weapon and the best design. They should make one with Sephiroth the main character of a game.

Even though technicaly FF6 had no main charecter, I voted for Terra. Granted I've only played three FFs (FFIV, FFVI and FFVII) but I liked Terra better than Cecil and Cloud. She's kind, a fair fighter and mage, and her esper form rox my sox.

Cloud Strife. I dunno, he just has the air around him, and he's more serious-in-character than Tidus or Zidane, but not as personality-less as Squall (no offense) and since FFVI has no MAIN character.
