Feel free to vote and describe your specific favorite part of the game. You can also talk about parts of the game you didn't like.

I loved the 3 scenarios because there was so much character development along with interesting situations and environments. More specifically Sabin's scenario is my favorite part of the game. Sabin, Cyan and Gau all showed a lot of personality. I feel that after this scenario the storyline ignores Sabin and Gau through the rest of the game, which is a shame. However it made those great moments that much better, since it's the only time you can really see the best of their personalities. Even Shadow played a suitable role and shows for the first time what his personality is like.

When I first played through the game I didn't like the WoR because it's so depressing. I got over it after that, but I still like the WoB a lot more. I know a lot of people complain about the lack of character dialogue in the WoR, and I agree with them. It would have been nice to have missions with assigned parties in the WoR so that there could have been more character interaction. I would have liked to see characters put together that never really created much of a bond, like a Celes, Gau, Edgar and Mog mission for example. There are so many different character combinations that could have turned into funny or simply interesting scenarios. I would have liked to see more development from Mog especially. Oh well.

Out of the choices you gave, I really couldn't pinpoint what exactly was my "Favorite Part of the Game", when there is so much I like within the game that I just can't rate it on a poll. So, of course, I chose "Can't Decide".

I agree with you i90 .. There is already enough back character for the characters as is, but there were some you could have wanted to see more dialogue from. Still, Daryl's Tomb, the Ancient Castle, acquiring Umaro and Gogo, and the Solitary Island are just a small part of the WoR in which the characters display different parts of their personalities and some good scenes ensue. So really, I'm just stuck on the whole thing. If I could pinpoint a favorite part, I probably wouldn't like it as much.

The characters that held together with the never say die attitude inspired me the most. While everyone got their act together eventually. Edgar, Sabin, Locke, Gau all were impressive with trying to get back at Kefka. Honourable mentions go to Cyan, Terra, Shadow and Relm for getting on with their lives. I just love the strong characters.

I chose weak chars in the WoR just because one of my scenes in the game where Celes jumps off the cliff. its just such a touching scene, to see a hero act like that with that innocent sounding music.

I also liked when gau got all dressed up to see his father, and well, you know sad.gif .It gets harder ad harder to find a game that moves you emotionally like ff6 does.

I think overall, the game was too good to decide. I feel the games good at havign emotioanl situations expressed, like the part where Cyan's family...or the scene with Gau... or when relm (didnt) die

but no game has ever brought a tearof emotion to my eye. FF6 came close. but no cigar... it and FF10 however got tears and screams of rage when certain people lived... biggrin.gif

Weak characters in WoR

I liked hunting down your old allies in the WoR. There's so many ways you could do it depending on the order you choose.

VERY tough call...

i would say the 3 scenario's part is the best because i like terra's scenario and i especially like locke's, but i hate doing sabins, its just too drawn out.

probably my favorite part of the game is right after the snowfield battle when youre finally allowed to freely roam narshe. it's my favorite town in the game because its so different from the others and its so peaceful and complex. as a snowboarder, i cant help but enjoy the somewhat quiet mountain town.

weak chars because i like seeing how the chars develop at this point like finding locke in the phoenix cave. the only thing i didnt like was that you had to start with celes. i hadnt built up celes at all so she was level lik 21 and i had to xp big time with sabin

I really enjoy the three scenarios, especially Locke's. I think his portion of that is my favorite part of the game. So that's what I voted for.

Second place would be the WoR when you're still looking for everyone. ^_^

I agree, either that was my favorite part or every scene dealing with Locke's past (with Rachel)...so basically the most touching moments in the game (IMO).
