Go back to he mercenary life, because thats what made Shadow cool. In the beginning he was on no ones side and he just fought for whoever paid him money.

Didn't Shadow vow to turn from that life?

I guess he'd become a new person, seperate from both of his former identities.

did i misinterpret the ending, because i thought shadow stayed on the exploding tower to die. 'it's time to stop running' he said, from the reaper that was always one step behind him.

however, i dont remember shadow making a remark on turning from that life. on the other hand, i remember him stating that the only thing he knows how to do is fight. (when he rejoins your party in the WoR)

ya know, i bet anyone who comes in here, who hasnt played the game, would think that this is the most BIZARRE conversation that ever occured.

i agree with dark paladin that he probably would start a new life, but remember because he is SHADOW and he can dissapear when he wants to,
but he'd probably go back to being who he really is because when he said "it's time to stop running"
he could have meant from his own fears in is life, which "these fears" could be what caused him to become SHADOW anyway
we may never know

Or maybe he meant that he was going to stop running from his real self, and start over. After all, he hides his identity the entire game.

He's either running from himself or from some fear or truth. In the end, he realizes that he must stop running and face reality. That's what I think it is.

i always figured he was gonna stop running from himself and take charge of his life, ie: lead an honest living, and more importantly, take his part as relm's real father.

I'd doubt that SHADOW would own the colluseum
because wasn't it built by some guy and ultros,

it is however more believable that he would be he would adopt RELM since there was a connection between them like that. also

It's more than implied once in Shadow's Five Dream Sequences that he is Relm's Real Father. The Memento Rings are the Unspoilered Giveaways as you play the game.. I'm gonna' agree with therandyrhoads here.. I believe Shadow wanted, not to quit running from the Reaper, but what he was originally running from when he made the transfer from Clyde Arrowny to Shadow, which is reality itself. He wanted to stop the Assasin gig, pick up something honest, and take his part as Relm's Dad and start anew. After all, Interceptor's a mean little pup, why do you think he liked Relm so much?

the memento ring's description is "a mothers love protects" and only shadow and relm are albe to equip it. To me that means the mother is shadows wive and relms mom

You know Gestahl fell from the floating land, right? Well, who knows what happened to him?

Gestahl comes back and destroys all the cities and modern new places in the future, that he built a floating castle called Pandemonium..(Ya, lol). And I was planning a fanfic to explain that Shadow is ACTUALLY Locke Cole from the future.. And that he nicknamed and diquised himself Clyde so they don't get Locke.. And after Baram died, Clyde decided to take a ship to Figaro to rob people there, but it couldn't control itself in the windy storm, that the ship crashed there at Thamasa.. bla bla bla,, I'll think more later on..

Well, Shadow is the best character on final fantasy, I like him so much.


I can't understand his actions, and that was the reason to me like him...


If I could be shadow, I 'm Sure that I think for a while.He choosed stay, ... cause his life wasn't good. I like him so much, but I guess I stay too.My mind don't stand the idea that I killed my parents, to get gold.

But If I can restart a new life, surely I will....


(Sorry for my english, I don't speak very well=[, I am brazilian...)

I think he stays to die, they way he says it doesn't make it sound like he's going to just say that and leave I mean if he was going to say something like that (like I think he does) wouldn't he say it in a more cosy surrounding?
