So how was everyone's thanksgiving? Mine was completely awesome. I went to my relatives who live maybe 10 minutes up the road, pretty standard. BUT, this was no ordinary family gathering. Guess who came and I got to hang out with? Dez White, starting WR of the Chicago Bears. Wow, was it awesome. I had no idea he was even coming until about 10 minutes before he showed up. I guess my uncle's best friend is friend's with Dez, and brought him along. He's a really laid back guy, and best of all he loves video games. I played PS2 and X Box with him and other people all night. He fricken owns in Halo, wow and I actually thought I was somewhat good. Wanna know the best part? He invited me to come play with him and his buddies on one of his game nights, where they bring in two big screens and play 8 man X Box etc. Pleasure overload, I can't believe I was actually hanging out with someone from my favorite sports team in the world (Cubs in 2nd of course).
Well, how everyone else's? -------------------- The clouds ran away, opened up the sky And one by one I watched every constellation die And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard Face to face, eye to eye, staring at the last star I should've known, walked all the way home To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone -Atmosphere "Always Coming Back Home to You" |

Mine was cool. I went to my uncles house, which is probably 10 minutes away from mine. I like short rides. All I did was eat and watch movies with my brother and cousin. We watched From Russia with Love, Golden Eye, Con Air, and The Rock. It was awsome. Watching movies, drinking a coke, and having pumkin pie all in one day. Can't get any better.

Heh. That was cool, Tidu.
Mine was standard, except we bought a pre-cooked Turkey because we weren't going to feel like cooking since it was a big day at work that morning (My mom and I deliver newspapers). Thanksgiving weekend ads made the dang things twice as large as a Sunday paper. ![]() I think I almost killed my car with all that weight. -------------------- "I had to write four novels before they let me write comic books." -Brad Meltzer |

I read "A Clockwork Orange" and had some turkey that my landlady gave me. My family is on the other side of the country, but I had fun anyway.... kind of.

I came, I saw, I ate the pumpkin pie and paid for it later on...
[bathroom] ![]() Not much to tell actually. I had to take my grandma home early cause she just had surgery for her cancer. Then I came back and partaked of more cheesecake which had a beautifully thick graham crust. The next day I went up to my stepdad's place and ate there and that's where I had two disturbingly large portions of pie w/ whipped cream. I've been recovering ever since. ![]() -------------------- |
