I normally try not to make "who's the best" topics, but I would actually like to know what some of you think about this. Sometimes when I play, I take a charecter I normally don't use and turn him into an imp, with all the imp equipment. I know I've heard a couple of other forum members mention having done so, as well.

So the question for everyone who's done it, is: Who do you think makes the best imp?

...And for those of you who havn't, give it a try.

And as a side thought, who makes the best second moogle (moogle suit)?

Kappa the Imp is the best Imp because he's a full bloodied Imp. Meh.

I would think any character with high speed and vigor (aka strength). Early in the game good candidates based on this include Locke, Shadow and Sabin (Gau can only use items as an imp). Later in the game anyone can be upgraded to have high speed and vigor.

Agreeing with MorgueN, Kappa the Imp is the best Imp of all! He's 100% Imp, doesn't need all this Imp Equipment to be one, and he explains EVERYTHING in the game to you whenever you're introduced to something new! What a genius!

And plus, when ever Mog & Kuku be coming out of the back exit to Narshe near the Beginner's Cabin laughing and trying not to be seen, you can rest assured they just got done smoking some of that Killer herb Kappa gets in the woods off Intangir Island. I mean Kappa's so damn smooth and cool and all he's got to be an occasional smoker, right?

.. I'm sorry, again for ranting on in my imagination like that.

Since the Imp Halberd has so much power, I would normally go with someone whose skill I don't normally use, since I'll be Fight-ing every time. That would probably be Celes or Relm.

In terms of appearance they all make nice imps. In terms of usefulness only those with powerful attacks/weapons make nice imps. In terms of uselessness Gau makes the best imp. In terms of authenticity Kappa makes the best imp.

Now who would look best as a lawn ornament?

Gau is more useless as an Imp Knight, since he doesn't have a Fight command to wreak havok with the Imp Halberd (if you give him the Merit Award since he can't equip it anyways)

Worthless imps may make the most convenient imps, but most likely they're not the best performance wise.

Yes, that was more on the lines of what I was asking. I'm still wondering if anyone knows any real reason why one charecter would make a better imp than the other charecters, but I fear all I'll get is more lawn ornament comments.

I guess everyone here is in a joking mood, and didn't realise the seriousness of the question. Come on guys, let's analyse.
