Link's Awakening has been mine since I first played it, but I have to add that I've played absolutely none of the 3D games of the series. I think for me it comes down to how it's not overly difficult and has a different and fun environment to play through, and also has a healthy dose of nostalgia. I think the Switch version really refreshed it and made it just as enjoyable for a new era, too.

So had I posted in this thread years ago... I don't think my answer would have changed. smile.gif

Another bump to say that since I last posted here a year ago, I completed Echoes of Wisdom, the Zelda-focused game for Switch in the same engine as Link's Awakening. Is it a better game than Link's Awakening? I don't know, but it's definitely close to being as good, and the puzzle mechanics made it a ton of fun to play, and it's also not overly difficult. It's a really good place to jump in to Zelda games, IMO.

Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? Or perhaps buying a really good looking shirt?
