Since AltheaValara revived two old fanart threads, I noticed that one has a working link to the artwork but the other one doesn't.

What's causing the links to be parsed differently?

edit: confirmed that just posting the link causes it to be parsed as a URL BBCode tag with the same URL as display text, so it isn't that

It might have something to do with the age of the submission or a forum backup being restored. I checked the forums on the CoN dev site and that same topic has the same problem there.
