Man...nothing posted since last year!? I have been making the occasional piece of art:

I'm kinda glad you're still postin' art here. After 13 years, this thread is something of CoN institution. And, gotta say, you picked a rather curious subject on which to base the series in your Nov. 13 post. It's entertaining, though, like most everything else you do.

As a nerd, I feel the need to point out the obsolescence of the "NSF56k" tag in the thread title.

Been replaying SoM after many years, and realizing some stuff about the story that I didn't really catch when I used to play thru it
 I always wondered why Primm is so freaked out after smacking Phanna, but in the intervening years, I've had some real insights from an actual martial artist about it... it isn't like in the movies where you can just knock someone in the head and they are incapacitated for 30 mins, you can kill someone by hitting them hard enough, if you're a conditioned martial artist. I guess the implication is that Mind-Controlled Phanna pushed the wrong button by talking about how "happy she and Dyluck are together," and Primm hauls off at her hard enough to endanger her life. The animation that plays doesn't actually show Primm use her equipped weapon, but she reacts immediately afterwards with an "Oh no what have I done" kind of reaction. I remember that scene...I never thought about it that way. Secret of Mana's script was always a little screwy so I didn't think too hard about it...

None of the images in your last two posts loaded, at least not for me.
Of the illustrations you posted since I last responded, I feel like the Zangief and Cammy pics are the most polished, which makes them the most appealing to me.
