Any fellow Americans out there check it out today? This was the best photo I came up with.

Kinda cloudy in Minnesota today - we were only getting about 80% eclipse where I live anyway but the clouds took that away!

I completely forgot about it the day of despite being aware 2 or 3 days before. It seemed suspiciously dark at one point during the day but didn't cross my brain the eclipse may have been the cause.

It was cloudy here in Chicago so we didn't even bother to go outside, alas. We did however attend a great lecture on the eclipse at our local library and got Moon Pies and eclipse glasses. We watched the news coverage of it, and I tuned in to NASA's stream for a bit. Hopefully they'll be better weather in 2024!

My daughter just started at a new school and they let the kids watch NASA's stream on Promethean Boards in the classrooms. That seems like a pretty awesome way to do it for elementary school kids.

Partial eclipse here in Florida. Put out a bowl of soy sauce and let the sun reflect off of that. Looked at it through two sunglasses. Photographed it when the clouds rolled around.
I almost forgot about it because we were really busy that day. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. I saw totality in East Tennessee. We drive about 30 minutes to watch it on a bridge in Townsend (near Pigeon Forge, TN). This was definitely the coolest thing I've ever seen. I would post a picture, but it doesn't do it justice. One of the coolest parts was under the bridge, after it went dark, it became about 15 degrees cooler and dogs were in the water barking because it went dark. It was incredible.
