I only played a little bit of Xenogears, but I liked Citan. I think that was his name, anyway.
I couldn't get into that game at all. ![]() -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |

The main guy seemed kinda lame, and the one girl was just dumb. I know that doesn't tell anyone a whole lot, but I don't remember the names anymore. ![]() -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |

Thats okay, but wait till ya see Grahf. What can I say, except he is a combination of Sephiroth and Golbez. I love the guy.

I've always held Xenogears in a particular distaste. Something about the butchering of pseudo-philosophy gave me the distinct impression of a work which tried to be profoundly philosophical, and ended up trite and presumptuous. Though some of the battles were fun, and the music was fantastic, I can't say I liked the game much at all.
That being said, Citan Uzuki/Hyuga Ricdeau was my favorite character of the bunch. His story, while convoluted like the rest, was just clever enough to capture my attention, and he had a cool intellectual swordsman's demeanor that really appealed to me. -------------------- "I always have a quotation for everything - it saves original thinking." ~Dorothy L.
