Why hasn't someone made a thread for this!
FINAL FANTASY IV Do you realize what this means? It means I can play the remake of Final Fantasy IV sitting on the couch, through my stereo, on a widescreen tv. I dunno bout you but I want to get a new computer (my computer is obsolete and doesn't meet the system requirements). -------------------- X is blue. |

Well, there was the news thread about it that I posted. And that you also posted in.
![]() I will probably get this whenever it goes super-cheap. I've played FF4 in a handful of ways already, including in 3D, so playing it through again just isn't that high on my list right now. Also, woe to your PC if it doesn't meet those specs, holy cow. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

Does this version happen to include the SNES, SFam, or GBA version as a bonus mode?

Quote (Billdolfski @ 3rd November 2014 06:38) Is this a PC port of the DS version? It's technically closer to a PC port of the iOS/Android version, I think, because it does not try to leverage a second screen/window. Other than that, though, yes, that's the gist of it. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

Interesting. It's on my wish list. I'll pick it when work starts.

I upgraded my computer and now I has it.
I've already played through once and I'm dead smack in the middle of my second playthrough. This game is gorgeous on a TV, through a Stereo, with a Buffallo Gamepad... Man. I can't even describe it. It's like nostalgia distilled, with an extra kick in the salsa. The additional story scenes do nothing for me and take time away from my life that I wish I could get back, but hey, I don't mind if they want to mess with it. It is their story after all, not mine. I really can't recommend the PC port of FF4 enough. You should get it guys. -------------------- X is blue. |

This is a very good game. It is a port of the Android version and it works very well overall. One issue is the frame rate dropping in battles so you might have to download a fan-made patch to fix that.
Overall it is addictive and even though dropping my prior Galaxy S4 required me to get a new one and lost my save, I still found myself buying this game on Steam and doing it over again. The music is really good too, better than it's ever been. It's playable on a keyboard for me. To be honest I've often played a lot of PC Games with the keyboard even if most others would go with the gamepad. The gamepad is better of course. Great game though yes you will be missing the Advance content that many of us know and love. |
