Gee, you gotta make this difficult don't you?
Force Armor has the best Evade Imp's is the most powerful if you are in a status ailment Diamond and Crystal are the best you can buy Genji is the most powerful when you're normal What in the world is Image Armor? I choose Genji. Imp status weakens you to the point where the stats will equal out. -------------------- "I had to write four novels before they let me write comic books." -Brad Meltzer |

I don't know what is Image Armor either...unless it's Mirage Vest?
Anyway, I null voted it, because the three armors I really like are not in it, and that's Snow Muffler, Behemoth Suit and Minerva... |

Oh, yeah. The Snow Muffler. That thing's usage is so limited, I still say Genji is the most powerful.
I guess he left those off since they're not "armor" in the traditional sense (metal plate or mail Breastplate + Gorget + Rerebrace + Poleyn + Greaves + Sabaton + etc). -------------------- "I had to write four novels before they let me write comic books." -Brad Meltzer |

Snow Muffler is the best armor in the game. With it equipped you can hit max defence of 255. Only drawback is that only Gau and Mog can equip it. Other than that Genji is best for any character who doesn't have an ultimate armor like the Minerva for Terra.

Snow Muffler is great. My other 3 characters use Genji Armor.

I have to go with Genji Armor as well. Most of my strong characters wear it. I like Imp's Armor but hate having to turn them into imps. Maybe if they looked like a cross between the character and an imp I would do it but if you turn your whole party into imps they all look alike...ahh God bless SNES graphics.

I think Umaro has the Snow Muffler automatically equipped.
The best armor (excluding imp armor) has to be Genji Armor, Snow Muffler, and the Behemoth Suits. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. Snow Muffler? Limited? Look at it this way. You can have a maximum party of four characters at any given time. Three characters can equip Snow Mufflers (Mog, Umaro, Gau). Give each of them one, and watch 75% of your party take either 0, 1, or absorb the damage. Limited, my foot.

Genji Armor gets my "Normal" Armor vote, and Behemoth Suit gets the second because I'd rather use Lore or Control then deal with two Berserkers and a Dancer.

Mog has a fight and magic command too. He can do more than dance. Snow muffler makes him one of the most battle efficient characters IMO. You can chose to make him a magic user or a fighter, heck you can even go crazy and raise his speed to insane levels. He would take 1 damage from any physical attack and being able to dish out max damage from spells and attacks would be a bonus too.

I always had Tina (Terra) in my main party, so I would have to go with the Minerva for her, my other party members-Strago, Relm, and Gogo(So, I like a party thgat's all red, sue me)-never really had any armor preferences for them, so I'd just stick whatever I had that looked interesting on them.

I have to go with the Genji Armor. IMO, it's the best general-use armor for the party at large.
Doesn't hurt my opinion when I've gotten a full load on the entire party that could use it, also. ^^; -------------------- ~Status Report~ * Completed... Dragon's Head * Completed...
