Possible spoilers: highlight to view God knows i hated Elmdoor, (Mainly for the roof fight where Rafa constantly commited suicide mutiple times) But also, once you add in him and his assasin ppl he really gets on your nerves. But i liked the fact that he used a sword, (My personal favorite for a weapon ^-^) and resembled Sephiroth, lol. What a jerk though, turning on you for not giving the stone, after failing at that roof fight, (Because of Rafa) i kept yelling at the game, "Give him the damn stone and get on with our lives! Sheesh! I didn't really understand what you meant by "favorite enemy." Is it an enemy who I liked personally because he was cool, or an enemy who was tough, so that I liked the challenge? Or was he my "favorite" because I really got to hate him, meaning that he succeeded as a villainous character?
If it's the first, then I'll go with Izlude. He had a noble personality that was in no way overplayed. He struck me as a practical knight caught trying to obey orders in a changing and corrupt world. If it's the second, then I'll go with Weigraf, Izlude, and Elmdor. Weigraf's one-on-one and the subsequent Velius battles are some of the most asked-about battles in the game, and it's pretty tough to beat without sticking to a tried-and-true strategy. Izlude's battle was more surprising than extremely difficult, since his extensive Jump abilities are unexpected, and become a constant hassle considering the make of the battlefield. Elmdor's Blood Suck is frustrating, and his lovely assassin partners Celia and Lede don't make it any easier on you. (Stop Bracelet = CHEAP.) If it's the last, then I'll definitely have to go with Algus. Few Final Fantasy villains inspired as much hatred as he did. Definitely the kind of guy it felt good to kill. Since Izlude made two out of three, I voted for him. -------------------- "I always have a quotation for everything - it saves original thinking." ~Dorothy L. I went with Dycedarg Beoulve, he was such a jerk through the game, that it felt GOOD to finally whup him and show him who's boss.

I am another of the legion of people that hate Wiergraf...WHY!!!
I still refuse to play this game completely throught because of this pants-wearing, no-good, son-of-a-submariner dastard!!! -------------------- Really Random Quote of the Day: "Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war." - Richard M. Possible spoilers: highlight to view Algus, because I hated him so much; every time I play through the game, I make a point of crushing he and his party, simply because I found him so abhorable for being a traitor -- much more hatable than Gafgarion because Algus didn't have any really cool equipment to steal before he left the party, nor any abilities in his default class that made him particularly useful or deadly while he was in the party. |

My fav character would have to be Wiegraf, even though he was a pain in the ass when he transformed an all, he was all around a bad guy we all loved to hate.

I voted Elmdor for his coolness, and the fact that the battles where you encounter him are good challenges (and rewarding in the case of the second).
