I had a thread a while back about my Zelda quest, to finish every game in the series. Since making that thread I've not made much headway.

So I was toying with the idea of doing a screenshot Let's Play of Minish Cap.
This begs the question, what IS a screenshot LP? Well, they were around on certain forums, (namely something awful) before the rise in popularity of the video LP.

My screenshot LP would literally just be uploaded screenshots with a small amount of text commentary, of a relatively low frequency compared to a video LP. Let's face it: most video LP's record everything that happens with some inane blabber over the top.

No, mine would be short chunks within a CoN thread, some questionable attempts at humour and analysis.. perhaps a little rant - but definitely more discussion based, this is a forum after all.

I'll give it a go if anyone here would be up for reading it, or posting in the thread?

I'd like to see it. We're big Zelda fans over at our place and Minish Cap isn't one we've had a chance to play yet. I say go for it. : )

I feel that way as well. It's one of the many reasons CoN has yet to do video walkthroughs - though, who knows, someday we might. Eh.

With regards to your plan, I dunno. Would be worth seeing a sample, I suppose, but I'm not sure how much it would do for me personally.

I think that Let's Play videos are a waste of everyone's time, but I wouldn't object to a forum thread with screenshots and commentary. Go right ahead.

^ I prefer LP videos to screenshot LPs, but that's partly due to why I watch them in the first place: I go to LP videos for commentary that introduces me to the game and shows off its gameplay and other features, not for comedy or for the LPer's personality. So I usually like the most matter-of-fact LPs, maybe with a dab of wry humor.

On topic: I'd read it. Not hugely interested in Minish Cap, but it would be a low-time-commitment way to learn about it.
