Ive beaten this game more than any other game in my life time and I decided to do a last play through.Im playing final fantasy 6 advanced rather than final fantasy 3 on my snes. I prefer the graphics, sound, item names, magic names, and dialogue of the original snes version but the extra dungeons and equipment of the remake kind of swayed me....until I got to jidoor. I like to listen to video game music while im at work, especially ff3 music and jidoor is one of my favorite themes. I just realized that there is no Jidoor theme in final fantasy 6 advanced, it has been replaced by - Kids Run Through the City Corner ~ South Figaro Theme. I am in WOB so I am unsure if this is the same for WOR and I am unsure that the listen to music option at the end of the game has the Jidoor theme listed. I have FFVI Advance, I'll load up one of my endgame files and the music player to check.
Edit: In the WoR of FFVI Advance Jidoor uses a theme song that the music player calls "The Magic House." In FF VI Advance Jidoor changes music in the WOR. It's been awhile since I've played it on the SNES or PS1, but isn't that also the case in the original versions?

I distinctively remember that the snes version has the original jidoor theme in both WOB and WOR but this needs to be proven.

I always thought the Jidoor Theme was actually only Owzer's house theme?

Quote (RelmArrowney @ 24th June 2013 00:25) I always thought the Jidoor Theme was actually only Owzer's house theme? Truth. In the WoB, I'm positive it's the regular Kids Run music. This is true in all versions to the best of my knowledge, because yeah, like Relm said, the way the Owzer dungeon is structured, it eats the whole town with it's theme. It's actually a pretty interesting decision developmentally, but I can see their reasons. For this reason, since the Owzer dungeon isn't til the WoR, the music doesn't play in the WoB. -------------------- If you've been mod-o-fied, It's an illusion, and you're in-between. Don't you be tarot-fied, It's just alot of nothing, so what can it mean? ~Frank Zappa Sins exist only for people who are on the Way or approaching the Way |
