Hi there,
My name is Mike or Michael or Munch. Been playing Final Fantasy 7, as throughout my life I never actually completed it by myself. First time I received the game I was just a kid all excited about it, so I ran to my friends place and in my hurry dropped the game case. It was the middle of winter and the three discs fell and slid across the frozen jagged pavement. Disc 2 wouldn't work after this incident... Phoenix Down anyone? Couple years later I get another chance to play through it at a friends house. I trained at Junon (Disc 1) for a good day and leveled up my characters/materia. I went fairly fast through the story after that and before long I was on disc 2. Now I go to sleep because I'm exhausted with chasing Jenova around the map, I tell my friend to go ahead and play for me while I sleep. I awake to learn that he played through disc 2.... my characters were so leveled that he just passed through it like nothing. Still beat the game but it didn't feel the same... My third and final playthrough began about a week ago, I've made it all the way through and now just have the weapons and battle arena to clear. I'm fairly confident that my team can take out Sephiroth already but I just have to eliminate all tasks before I can say I beat this game. I've been to this site before for information and just figured I should become a member already. So here I am. Nice to meet you. -------------------- So listen, Don't wait. |

It was a traumatic experience that has scarred me indefinitely... perhaps a song is in order. In all seriousness though it was a moment that has stuck fresh in my mind and probably will until the day that I die. Old geezer recalling the day he first got his copy of final fantasy 7...
