The beauty of our favourite medium is that the consumer guides the experience more than any other artform. Sometimes a great experience can be had by playing the game in a way that wasn't intended at all by the developer! Speedruns, no kill runs, sequence breaking, self imposed limitations are a few examples.

Now let's sit around the campfire and exchange stories of our feats and failures.

I'm currently making progress in a Demon's Souls playthrough, as a knight, only using the starting equipment he entered Boletaria with. It's going okay so far but I'm not liking my chances against Flamelurker and the whole Tower of Latria.

And for some shameless bragging.. Zelda OoT a couple of years back: 3 heart playthrough.. my crowning Zelda moment.

I don't really do challenge runs, but I should do a livestream of an in-bounds sequence-broken run (not speedrun though) of Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance sometime. Relies on such tricks as the Ice Fist Glitch and the Floating Boots to get everywhere I'm not supposed to go. The best part of such a run is that it basically gives a huge amount of insight into the way the game was designed.

Roughly how long would that take, Glenn?

For those who might know what the hell i'm talking about - I managed to finish all of Stonefang Tunnels with those limitations. Managed to defeat Flamelurker in one attempt. In order to retain as much armor as possible while being mobile, this saved my ass several times when I had to roll/run away and heal. My Knight had no chestplate, but greaves, gauntlets and helmet.. With the bare chest it looked utterly ridiculous. The standard longsword damage I did was pitiful, so the fight was quite the endurance bout.
Afterwards I died on Dragon God about 4 times, which sucks because it's usually the easier battle by a long shot.

have a picture I drew of Phalanx (first boss) to commemorate the occasion..
Myah.

Not sure, but it would probably take a few hours.

Majoras Mask single 72 hour cycle runs, and 3 Song of Time 100% runs. I feel like the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland; I'm always late for something.

Yeah, baby, yeah! biggrin.gif

Edit Note: It's technically 144 hours, but I don't count the first three days as a Deku scrub, although you can actually get a bit of stuff done there that helps you out, like banking as much as possible. I can get a thousand or so if I farm hard. This helps you buy things later.

So far as the 3 cycle (not counting scrub) 100% goes, I'm pretty sure it's the bare minimum to get everything done, considering the old lady at the inn eats at least an entire night with her god damn stories(if you go at 5:59pm she does minimal damage). plus the Anju/Kafei quest with it's two endings for Madame Aroma with the priority mail, and the necessity of stopping Sakon from mugging the old lady to get the All Night Mask at the curiosity shop on day 3, which stops the A/K quest in it's tracks. Single 72 hour run is actually easier to me than this. The worst part is the effing temple fairies.
