Dirge of cerberus vs the original ff7 vs crisis core.
Does dirge of cerberus add anything? I played a little of crisis core and it seemed ok but a bit more repetitive than the original. Mostly i'm just curious about your opinion folks Does dirge of cerberus add much to the story? Both of them were awful in my opinion. But I have to pick Crisis Core being the better of the two, despite how many plot holes it brought up in the storyline. Crisis Core had a better battle system than DoC, shooting with the bad camera angles made things difficult and confusing, and it felt messy. I don't know if DoC adds anything to the story, because I didn't get far before stopping. I don't think it closes anything, and the true ending just adds more story, or a clue that there's going to be another FF7 prequel.... -------------------- Currently playing Chrono Trigger !! It depends on what you're looking for. DoC was squenix's foray into shooting, and was more about vincent than the story of VII. Crisis Core was good in my opinion.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view Both games though, brought attention to, and set up, the possibility that they're going to make more games with Genesis as an antagonist. -------------------- -FFIII FFIV FFV FFVII FFVIII FFX FFXII FFXIII FF:Dissidia FFVII:CC FFVII:DoC --KHI KHII KH:COM KH:BbS ---SO:FD SO:TTEOT SO:TLH ----DQIII DQVIII -----DA:O DAII ------VP:S |

I hated both of them, to be honest. They both are swarmed over by fanboys/girls.
I mean, the stories in them were OK, but seriously, give us an RPG. |

Well I haven't finished Dirge yet (busy life and only started a short while ago
![]() Crisis adds more than Dirge to the direct storyline - Cloud's past etc. But DOC does explain more about Vincent and then Sephiroth's creation right? Cloud's past was more relevant to the story I think because VII starts with Cloud and Sephiroth's creation doesn't need to be explained any more than Possible spoilers: highlight to view He was created by Hojo and Shinra with Jenova Cells and that's it. We knew that in VII Even though it's Vincent's game, Sephiroth's past is more relevant than Vincent's (I hate to have to say that but it's true ![]() So for adding more to FFVII, Crisis Core Wins. Dirge Of Cerberus is probably my preferred game because I love Vincent's character and for being Quote I liked this difference. squenix's foray into shooting Anyway does this make me a fan girl? Wanting more knowledge about the characters, their feelings, and their world? ![]() -------------------- "Please don't give me all my luck now. Make it all stretch. I don't mind waiting.
