FF13 - Long Gui - Any ideas?

I've already killed Long Gui three times and I'm out of Elixirs. Feel free to share your knowledge on how to defeat it without the Elixir.
So far I've managed to bring his HP down to 30% before it gets back up. Tried the hidden synthesis "Gestalt/TP Boost" to restore TP faster during battle, but I can't fill the TP bar I need to use Summon for a second time. If I use Vanille's DEATH + Genji Glove and switch to CERBERUS paradigm before Death hits while the Long Gui is Staggered, it can deal 999,999 HP damage. I guess that's the way to go.

At the end of the stagger, or if you're desperate, Fang's Highwind can hit 3 times for 999,999 each hit. It ends the stagger though.

Youtube is your friend in this case, Saffire. I found some helpful videos when going for the 100% achievements on this game. Quite the feat if you manage it!

Outta curiousity why are you fighting it as many times as you have so far? You needed only kill it once for the trophy or achievemnt, so whats the reason?

Well the thing is I defeated every Cie'th Stone from the Undying Circle and the Adamantoises except one transformed into Long Gui. Now I have to farm them for Platinum Ingots so I can make some gil to buy everything I need to upgrade my weapons to Tier 2. So far I've been able to farm Gold Nuggets from the Shaolong Gui and Platinum Ingots from that one last Adamantoise in the Archylte Stepe, but the chances of Adamantoise dropping the Platinum Ingot is 25%. If he doesn't drop Platinum Ingot I have to Quit and reLoad, can't waste TP. I get mad when Adamantoise drops Trapezohedron (don't need it).
