I bought a copy of Dissidia a week ago, and I'm liking it a lot.
Which characters does everyone like using? I'm an Onion Knight guy myself, with Bartz as a close second.

Warrior of Light and Terra are my mains. I also like messing around with Zidane, but all I really do with him is jumpjumpjumpcombo. Those are the only three characters I have at level 100 as well.

My favorite Dissidia character is Kefka, and Terra is a close second. I also enjoy playing as Emperor Mateus. I tend to go for the characters who specialize in long range magic attacks. One notable exception is Tifa (Duodecim, but it's still a Dissidia game). Even though she's a brawler, she's surprisingly easy for me to play as, so I've been using her as one of my mains in that game.

I enjoy playing as Onion Knight, Terra, and Zidane the most.

Somewhat amusingly, I hadn't played FFIII, FFVI, or FFIX at the time that I first started playing Dissidia.
I still haven't played VI.

My favorite was Firion. Using his rope knife, I could just pummel an enemy over and over again without letting up. Cloud and Squall were my back ups, but everyone was still below level 20 by the time I got Firion to 100.

Golbez for the bad guys and Terra for the good. Gotta love that Genesis Rock. I also frequently use Kefka.

AHHH I HATE GENESIS ROCK
I was just fighting a Golbez Mannekin as Onion Knight (Shade Impulse and what have you), and he kept KOing me with Genesis Rock whenever I tried to get in close for Wind Shear. Attempting to get as far away as possible doesn't always work either, since it's a long-range attack. I find that you can't be on a level plane with him in order for Genesis Rock to be almost guaranteed to miss.
Terra's Tornado is just as annoying.

If all else fails as Golbez, just spam Genesis Rock!


And yes, it has pretty insane range. The AI is horrible at dodging it, so it's pretty lethal.

ZIDANE here, however also Squall and Cloud.
Also somehow love using Warrior.

Only 4 charas I have level 100.

Zidane Tribal. But I guess that's no surprise right, right ?

Currently looking forward to Don't Know.

I've actually been using Warrior of Light a lot lately. His level's in the mid-90s (Duel Colosseum is good for leveling up and getting treasure and PP while you're at it), while Bartz and Onion Knight are both Level 100; everyone else is below Level 20.

I'm not ashamed to say I like Tifa the most out of all the characters, old and new. I also like to use Kain and Cloud.

I haven't yet gone through the entire 013 story yet. I'm a bit disappointed with Terra's personality so far. She reminds me a bit too much of Yuna, whom I severely dislike (as a character). Would have loved to see Locke, Celes, Sabin, Edgar, or Cyan in this game.

Zidane is my main, and I like that he has such beautifully awesome chained attacks. Plus he's a lot faster than some of the others.

I also use Squall quite a bit, and he led my team into the final 013 Chaos battle and beat two forms before Chaos finally said, "Okay, I've had enough of you. Wall, Squall. Squall, Wall." And Squall went *SPLAT*.

Lightning, Bartz, Tifa, and Kain often get to tag along on party battles, but usually Zidane and Squall make short work of the pieces and everyone else just gets to mop up the EXP at the end.


The characters I wish I was better at using are Tidus and Jecht.

Still haven't really used Shantotto, Prishe, or Gilgamesh.

I'm a Cloud user, myself. I like his strength mostly.

The reason Cloud is my main is because FFVII is my favorite. I just need to find a copy. I could only borrow it. D:
