So, my April Fool's was pretty lame. I couldn't think of anything cool to do nor did I see anything cool done. I considered changing my relationship status to "engaged" on Facebook or announcing that I got fired or that I was quitting but those all seemed obvious or lame.

So what did you do this year? Or what have you done in the past or what has been done to you?

Eh, my day wasn't anything special. It was my best friend's birthday, but we didn't do anything haha.

I spoke of myself in the third person and slipped a fake story in amongst real ones.

On a Warhammer site I'm a mod on, we changed the army list orders in the boards so that the various Space Marine ones were on top, had bigger text, and all the non-space marines were given silly nicknames instead.

The Pirate Bay's prank was fantastic... I stared in disbelief ( but the kind of disbelief where you actually start to believe ) for a few seconds, before my eyes fell on the date.

It's the top post on their blog.

I didn't do anything. I just couldn't be bothered. I also didn't see any that I was particularly amused by, Google aside. They always do good stuff.

The TV Tropes forum replaced everyone's usernames with some prefix, along with a coordinated avatar change (everyone got the same avatar). For example, for a couple hours I was known as "Spartacus Glenn Magus Harvey" and had a Spartacus avatar. Other things used include Spider-Man, a grizzly bear, and a blank rectangle avatar (which was called "Ghostly").

I, unfortunately, was very busy so I didn't do much. Last year, I spent several hours on AFD using a Jim Inhofe avatar on TV Tropes.

I would probably have become a Sephiroth fanboy for a day here, if I were actually around. I've done this before. Just haven't gotten around to doing much lately...

Another team who work under the same company as me called the office and told them that there set had caught fire and set the school sprinklers off and that the stuff had hit the fan basically. They believed him until he told them he was joking haha I bet that went down a treat!

That got the office thinking, they then sent us all emails that they'd got us cheap gigs really far away on a SUNDAY! It would've messed up my teams travel arrangements that weekend I was well pissed and well fooled. No sunday gig after all. Good one. shifty.gif

Good to see you back, but it seems in your absence you've forgotten that we try to keep the foul language to the bare minimum. No worries, though. - R51
