Oh hahaha, when you wrote "Ghost Train" I totally missed that it was a location and thought it was a playable character. I was about to throw a damn fit and I haven't even played the game.

Ghost Train as a playable character would be OP until you used Phoenix Down on him.

I'm lookin forward to this one, mainly 'cuz I love the fact that they added my favorite FF character; the man who graces my profile pic!! They added heavier artillery and a piece of the Ragnarok spaceship in his arsenal!

I had a feeling that if they added a character from FF10, it'd be Yuna. Glad to see I was right. She looks like she'll be a cool addition to the Cosmos side. I'm also happy to see that Tifa is representing FF7. I'm still waiting to see if there's gonna be a new character from FF6 and who it'll be if there is *still keepin' my fingers crossed for Celes*.

And I third the motion for seeing Gilgamesh as a playable character. He's my favorite NPC from FF5. Also...Ghost Train as one of the stages?! I think I'm going into awesome overload!

FFIV Complete Collection comes with a DLC code for a Dissidia costume

Dissidia Duodecim Prologus is out in Japan and is heading here soon, it's a demo for 300 yen (about £2) but buying it gives you Aeris as an assist in the final version of Dissidia Duodecim
It also has a prologue story in it

It's out in Japan now and is probably gonna be out in the UK and US some time this week... we hope

Given how adamantly Square Enix was taking down all of the Tifa hints back in September, it's hilarious that they leave all that data in the demo when it will obviously never be accessed in it. The costumes, and portraits of characters they've yet to "officially" reveal.

Well, that looks like confirmation that Gilgamesh is gonna be one of the playable characters, to me! So do those hints about the interdimensional rift. Thanks for the info & pics, Dark Paladin Danny!

Don't you get it? It's because they WANT somebody to find those things in the code! It's all a publicity stunt!



...Of course, Aeirth's model was in the first games code, so this could be left over from early in development. DAMNIT I WANNA PLAY AS YUNA IN HER WEDDING DRESS.

I STILL want to see Gilgamesh in a Kingdom Hearts game. I could totally see him as a quirky miniboss constantly trying to add the Keyblade to his weapons collection.

OH WOW!! this really made my day.

I saw kain and other characters and i felt a tinge of excitement again of seeing one of my favorite ff characters in the original ff4 and overall.

Seeing tifa in is nice too and locke.

I was also happy to see laguna since i like laguna one of the most in ff8.

Either way i'm excited about kain and hope to see a new ff6 character,i heard a possibility of locke being in there somewhere in that article,i do think that is a very good move and perhaps having clyde or:shadow would be something that would work.

I also like how you can see boss form of kuja and non boss form.

I saw in the first link also the boss form of what i suppose is jecht's boss form?

Neat looking graphics too,sweet artwork.

Thanks for the new pics, Dark Paladin Danny. I especially like the one of Gilgamesh's Ex-Burst & EU special edition pics.

I am disappointed to learn that there won't be a new character from FF6, though. I guess the Phantom Train as one of the locations will be FF6's contribution to the game, but still. I was really looking forward to seeing Celes or Locke (or Edgar, or Sabin, or Shadow, or Leo, or...well, you get the idea) get the Dissidia treatment. Oh, well.

It still says "TBA" on the FFWiki for VI and IX, so you never know, I guess.
I thought it would have been awesome to have Terra fight for Cosmos and either Celes or Leo (plus Kefka, of course) fight for Chaos.

Ah. Wasn't aware it was still TBA on any characters from 6 & 9. Guess we'll know more eventually, but in the meantime, I'll go back to keeping my fingers crossed. We already have Kain & Gilgamesh confirmed, so it'd suck if 6 is the only game from the SNES era that doesn't get a new character.

I wasn't really too interested in Dissidia, but as the roster expands beyond the main heroes, I am beginning to want it more. My slim PSP just stopped working recently (I dropped it), so if they come out with a nice Dissidia bundle when this one comes out, I may even go for that.

Thee new heroes certainly add more to the game,and the boss forms are really neat.Ok sorry for repeating myself but i saw some pics of that purple hair on kuja's body and it was just like his boss form.
