I'm a bit of a privacy whore so I might pass along any cash prizes to another cause if I do end up winning, pendent on just how anonymous the transfer is. However it does sound like it could be a bit of interesting fun otherwise sooo submissions sent.

No idea what a good prompt suggestion might be though.

We have a winner! I'll wait until tomorrow evening after work to post the info in a detailed contest thread. But in the meantime keep sending me prompt ideas for round 2!

Also, it's worth noting that we had 15 participants this time. This isn't a bad number, but I'd still like more, and if the number gets too low then it isn't worth continuing. If a round ever gets fewer than 12 participants, it will be the final round. That's all she wrote.

Originally, Rare Entries was going to close tomorrow morning and I would post the results tomorrow evening. However, my work hours changed, and I'm working very early tomorrow morning. I won't be able to even look at anything on CoN (including entries submitted through PM) after I get out of work, and even then not until after my part-time job in the late afternoon. Therefore, I will extend the final Rare Entries deadline another 12 hours - Get them in by midnight US Eastern time tomorrow, a little over 24 hours from this post, and I will have them posted Tuesday morning. Right now I have 10 or 11 responses, which isn't bad, but I'd still like more.

Good old CoN

Well, if laszlow's busy, someone else could pick up the slack.

I kinda like using only 6 prompts instead of 8, and choosing prompts with at most only about 10 choices. I've run this game over at the TV Tropes fora before, so I've made a spreadsheet for calculating stuff, which I can dig up and send to whoever wants to administer this game.

I don't have the money to give out AmaCoN gift certificates, though.
