I'm really looking forward to getting Crisis Core, and my Uncle in Canada wants to get me it. However, I am worried that I won't be able to play it as I live in South Africa.
Help plz? -------------------- Since I advertise CoN there I think it's only fair that I advertise The Wiki here. |

I'm fairly positive they aren't, no. You shouldn't have any trouble playing a game from another region on a PSP.

Do they have where you live? He could have it mailed to you from a South African retailer.

PSPs are NOT region-locked for games, but they ARE region-locked for UMD movies. I have one Japanese PSP game that works perfectly.

I can also confirm that they are region-free for games. I own 2 Japanese games that works perfectly on my European PSP.
